I offer general history courses tailored to the needs of students, from middle school to master's level. The sessions aim to develop both an understanding of major periods and historical issues, as well as the ability to critically analyze sources and events. Depending on the level, courses may focus on reviewing chronological bases, preparing for exams (maturité, baccalauréat, mid-terms), in-depth thematic study (social, political, cultural, international history), or even support for research and writing academic papers. This 60-minute course provides a concise overview of the Ukrainian conflicts since 2014, exploring their complex recent history and deep-seated roots. We will begin by examining the immediate catalysts: the Euromaidan Revolution, Russia's annexation of Crimea, and the initial outbreak of conflict in the Donbas. The course will delve into the intertwined political, historical, and geopolitical factors that underpin the ongoing hostilities, including Ukraine's pursuit of closer ties with the European Union and NATO, Russia's security concerns and imperial ambitions, and the historical narratives shaping national identities. We will trace the evolution of the conflict from the initial phase in Donbas to the full-scale invasion in 2022, analyzing key events, international responses, and the devastating humanitarian consequences. Knowing American history is critically important—and an essential part of that history is the story of the diverse people who make up America. This course focuses on the Black American perspective of U.S. history—also known as African American, Black American, or simply Black history. In this class, we will explore five major eras of American history: 1. Slavery and Reconstruction 2. The Jim Crow Era 3. The Civil Rights Era and the Black Power Movement 4. The 1980s and 1990s 5. President Obama’s Presidency to the Present Throughout these eras, we will cover key topics such as the transatlantic slave trade, the Harlem Renaissance during the Roaring Twenties, the Red Summer and the many race riots and massacres during the Jim Crow era, segregation and the fight for civil rights, and more recent events like the Obama presidency and the 2020 pandemic. This course will help students not only understand American history, but specifically from a Black perspective, while also examining how that history shapes current events and the future.

In addition to being part of a student's core curriculum, an understanding of history is essential for viewing the world in an informed manner. Through this course, we will learn about US & European History at the middle and high school levels. Rather than exploring history through dates and memorization, we will view history through the lenses of causation, continuity and change over time, and comparison.

This is a class to get a 360 understanding of what is the European Union: origins, institutions, challenges, its place in the international system, its key legal texts. It is a perfect introduction to the topic for young people and adults.

History is the vector that allows us to better understand our society, the world in which we live. It is essential for general culture. The level of the course will adapt to the level of the student, from primary to university. It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

In my third year of the history faculty at the Jean Moulin Lyon III University, I plan to enroll in a master's degree in medieval history. I want to write a research paper on the French and the Mongols in the 13th century. I would like to go on to write a thesis on the theme of Mongol incursions into Japan (1274 and 1281). The sessions will aim to deepen or discover concepts about a period. I am comfortable with the era: medieval (especially from the 12th-13th century), modern (it all depends on the region and the century) as well as prehistory. I am able to establish a progression curve, as well as adapt the lessons according to the need or simply in relation to the expectations of the student. If necessary, repetitions and accentuations on knowledge can take place. Since I am not yet at the apotheosis of my studies, I will only offer these services to beginners or students (up to high school or first year of history school at the "maximum"). I can also offer help for tests related to the history dissertation or text commentaries, very famous and predominant exercises in studies in the history faculty.
