University of Manchester postgraduate specialising in Political and Social History classes
As a recent History postgraduate, attaining a 2:1 degree at the University of Manchester I will pass on sizeable knowledge to prospective Historians. Largely focusing on Political and Social, with elements of Economic history, my teaching will generally mirror my specialties. I specialise in post 1960s Britain, particularly the 1980s, which was the topic for my 13,000 word dissertation. Similarly, I achieved first class and no lower than 2:1 grades in subjects spanning from the beginnings of the Islamic world in late antiquity, to the study of Ancient Greece through archaeological remains, to the industrial revolution and the formation of class in Britain, to the British colonialisation of India and Africa, to the Jim Crow south in the US, to the transnational community post ww2, to the theoretical nature of the memorialisation of WW2s events in eastern Europe.
Though certain subjects I have delved even deeper into, my vast knowledge of a wide scope of historical eras and subjects, as well as my experience in History at russel group University level (2:1), A Level (A) and GCSE level (A) stages, allows me to tutor Historians of all ages and levels.

About Me
I believe myself to be a friendly, approachable person, who will make an entirely charasmatic tutor. Working with young people regularly in my football coaching role has given me a passion for positively influencing young people's ability and ultimately lives, whilst honing my skill to demand respect from those I'm trying to imprint my knowledge upon.I will be a flexible tutor, as I know the stresses of education and the balancing act you parents need to navigate, therefore my leniancy in timings and availability will remain aplenty.
Though I specialised in modern History at degree level, I am also willing to bend to the neccessities of the syllabus and believe I'll be able to provide support to a plethora of historical subjects, so do not be afraid to ask!

American History from an African American perspective.
Knowing American history is critically important—and an essential part of that history is the story of the diverse people who make up America. This course focuses on the Black American perspective of U.S. history—also known as African American, Black American, or simply Black history.
In this class, we will explore five major eras of American history:
1. Slavery and Reconstruction
2. The Jim Crow Era
3. The Civil Rights Era and the Black Power Movement
4. The 1980s and 1990s
5. President Obama’s Presidency to the Present
Throughout these eras, we will cover key topics such as the transatlantic slave trade, the Harlem Renaissance during the Roaring Twenties, the Red Summer and the many race riots and massacres during the Jim Crow era, segregation and the fight for civil rights, and more recent events like the Obama presidency and the 2020 pandemic. This course will help students not only understand American history, but specifically from a Black perspective, while also examining how that history shapes current events and the future.

In addition to being part of a student's core curriculum, an understanding of history is essential for viewing the world in an informed manner. Through this course, we will learn about US & European History at the middle and high school levels. Rather than exploring history through dates and memorization, we will view history through the lenses of causation, continuity and change over time, and comparison.

Private lessons in history over several periods + Academic support
In my third year of the history faculty at the Jean Moulin Lyon III University, I plan to enroll in a master's degree in medieval history. I want to write a research paper on the French and the Mongols in the 13th century. I would like to go on to write a thesis on the theme of Mongol incursions into Japan (1274 and 1281).
The sessions will aim to deepen or discover concepts about a period. I am comfortable with the era: medieval (especially from the 12th-13th century), modern (it all depends on the region and the century) as well as prehistory.
I am able to establish a progression curve, as well as adapt the lessons according to the need or simply in relation to the expectations of the student. If necessary, repetitions and accentuations on knowledge can take place.
Since I am not yet at the apotheosis of my studies, I will only offer these services to beginners or students (up to high school or first year of history school at the "maximum").
I can also offer help for tests related to the history dissertation or text commentaries, very famous and predominant exercises in studies in the history faculty.
