I want to help foreigners in learning Italian. My classes will provide learning the basics so grammar, verbs and so on. I also believe that a vital tool in learning a language is practice so I aim also to conversation sessions, listening and reading In order to get full insights into this beautiful language. Firstly my lessons are going to be taught in English but as soon as the student is able to speak and understand the basics of communication I aim to switch to full Italian.

About Me

I'm an Italian student with an Italian high school degree. I have studied for the last five years of Italian literature, Ancient Greek and Latin (both grammar and literature. I'm sociable and I like to teach about this subject since I'm passionate about it.
Ancient culture and literature can help you open your mind and understand better the present.

I am a Vietnamese native (born and raised in Hanoi) who has lived in the UK for 2 years, and now in my 8th year living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am currently working full-time at an international Dutch company and tutoring Vietnamese is my favorite hobby!

This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture.

New vocabulary for each topic will be discussed. My study background is in Mathematics and Statistics, thus with the combination of languages you can expect 'a bit' of reasoning logic behind all lessons I give (which I think gives some structure to the lessons as well)!

Hi there! My name is Altea. I’m a qualified and experienced teacher with over eight years of experience teaching students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
I’m a native Italian speaker, and I lived in the UK for eight years, where I taught Italian in individual, group, and online lessons. I have supported students preparing for A-Level Italian, professionals working with the Italian market, and people planning to travel or move to Italy.

I teach Italian (and English) using the Direct Communicative Method. This means we focus on speaking and understanding Italian in real, everyday situations. From the very beginning, you will learn Italian by actively using it. Our lessons will take place almost entirely in Italian.
