Hello learners :) I've been working as a Greek tutor for almost a year now, and I'm excited to launch my new project: Greek Reading class! If you already know how to read in Greek, and you just need some extra engaging and stimulating reading practice to either upgrade your level or just enhance your vocabulary and boost your confidence while reading Greek, this class is for you! In each class you'll be given the chance to practice reading though different stories, articles, book chapters etc. This class is not limited to just reading, but together we'll try to translate any written text and engage in either small and guided discussion or "choose the correct answer" type of questions. In this way, I'm aiming to boost each student's confidence regarding Greek comprehension.

Why this class is best for you?:
As a foreign language learner myself, I know that practicing reading can be a bit demanding and time consuming, due to our everyday responsibilities! But with this class is a guarantee that you'll be dedicating at least one hour per week to practice reading with low effort (material will be provided + guidance by me).

If that class speaks to you I'm more than glad to get to know you and practice reading together!

What makes my lessons truly special is the bridge I build between language and culture. While I teach all levels of Ancient Greek, I offer three specialized tracks that I am particularly passionate about:
• Homeric Greek: Dive into the world of the heroes of the Iliad and Odyssey.
• Platonic Greek: Explore the elegance of Attic prose and the philosophical depth of Socrates.
• Koine Greek: Read the New Testament and Hellenistic texts in their original historical context.

Latin and Greek are beautiful but difficult languages to learn. Many students lose heart and motivation after a few bad grades. Together, we will look at where your stumbling blocks lie, and from there, I will help you move forward. I align as much as possible with your schoolwork. I also provide you with tools and strategies to learn (vocabulary) and translate better. This way, you strengthen the foundation, your results improve, and you go to class with more enjoyment and self-confidence again.
I also provide Latin and Greek exam training, including interim training for school exams.
