Greek Reading Class: Practice reading through engaging material prepared with love from a native Greek tutor :)
From 23 £ /h
Hello learners :) I've been working as a Greek tutor for almost a year now, and I'm excited to launch my new project: Greek Reading class! If you already know how to read in Greek, and you just need some extra engaging and stimulating reading practice to either upgrade your level or just enhance your vocabulary and boost your confidence while reading Greek, this class is for you! In each class you'll be given the chance to practice reading though different stories, articles, book chapters etc. This class is not limited to just reading, but together we'll try to translate any written text and engage in either small and guided discussion or "choose the correct answer" type of questions. In this way, I'm aiming to boost each student's confidence regarding Greek comprehension.
Why this class is best for you?:
As a foreign language learner myself, I know that practicing reading can be a bit demanding and time consuming, due to our everyday responsibilities! But with this class is a guarantee that you'll be dedicating at least one hour per week to practice reading with low effort (material will be provided + guidance by me).
If that class speaks to you I'm more than glad to get to know you and practice reading together!

Hello, psychophiles! 👋
My name is Despoina, and I’m of Greek origin. Friends and family call me Debbie, so that’s how you’re going to call me too! 😊 I hold a degree in psychology and am a licensed professional in Greece, currently pursuing my MSc in Health Psychology!
I may have limited tutoring experience, but what I bring to the table is my limitless passion for psychology. My strong academic background, participation in several seminars (depression and psychotherapy, analytic group psychotherapy, somatic illnesses, etc.), as well as my internships (A21, Center for Talented Youth – CTY), have allowed me to explore psychology in greater depth and gain hands-on experience and valuable knowledge.
Are you curious about why people think, feel, and behave the way they do? Welcome to Unlocking the Mind, an engaging and thought-provoking psychology course designed for students (and not only!) eager to explore the depths of human behavior.
Psychology isn’t just a subject—it’s a window into understanding ourselves and the world around us. In this course, we’ll dive into various branches of psychology, from cognitive and behavioral to clinical and social, uncovering the fascinating mechanisms behind emotions, decision-making, memory, and personality.
But this isn’t your average lecture-style class! Expect dynamic discussions, real-world applications, and an interactive learning experience featuring educational videos, movie analyses, and thought-provoking case studies. I’ll also recommend must-read books to deepen your understanding of the field.
Whether you’re new to psychology or looking to expand your knowledge, this course will challenge your thinking and provide you with invaluable insights into the human mind. Classes will be tailored to your needs, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.
In addition to the core topics, I’m also happy to assist with exam preparation, psychology assignments, or simply answer any questions you have about the field. If you love discussing psychology as much as I do, let’s dive into engaging conversations and explore the subject together!
Let’s explore the science of psychology together—because understanding the mind is the key to unlocking endless possibilities! 🧠📝💡✨
