History - from Year 7 to 3rd-Year Undergraduate / Histoire - de la 6ème à la L3
I am a Teaching Associate and Writing Tutor at a London University. I have been teaching History and Essay Writing to undergraduate students for the past three years. I also have experience tutoring children and teenagers to help them prepare for their exams (GCSE, A-Level, Brevet, Baccalauréat).
I strongly believe the student should be at the centre of the tutor’s attention and planning every step of the way. Every tutee is different, and I will always spend the first hour discussing what their expectations are, what has worked best for them until then, and what they are struggling with. If their attention span is short, I will make sure to both work with it by adapting my lessons and work to improve it over time. If exam anxiety prevents them from achieving the results they could, I will include regular mock exams.
I want my tutees to feel at ease and stress-free during our lessons, and making our time together safe and comfortable is crucial to me.

About Me
I am a tutor because I love teaching and seeing my students become more confident and comfortable with their knowledge and abilities. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant at Queen Mary, University of London, but I miss my tutoring days.I have been tutoring on and off since 2013. I was lucky enough to work with a diverse range of students, age- and character-wise. I am as comfortable tutoring young children to improve their self-confidence or their focus as I am helping teenagers find the best way to organise their ideas on paper or present them in public.
Thanks to my academic background, I am able to prepare lessons on most subjects fast and efficiently.

I have experience tutoring children and teenagers to help them prepare for their exams (GCSE, A-Level), to boost their confidence when speaking and writing, or just to ensure what they learned in class has been clearly understood.
I have also helped quite a few adult friends practice and improve their spoken French, and I would love to help you do so too!

Tips and Tricks for Sociology Essay Writing, Targeted to GCSE and AS/A Level Students.I am eager to help young people feel confident when writing sociology essays. I will place an emphasis on deconstructing the questions students are given by encouraging them to reword the question to offer a different perspective on it. In addition, the main aim of a sociology essay is to convince the reader more and more of the argument you have claimed in the introduction. I want to help students do this by helping them follow the PEAL structure, i.e. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link back to question. I have found this a very effective and coherent way of structuring an essay. I have studied Sociology for 7 years now, at AS/A Level, Undergraduate Level and now at MSc level at LSE. I was awarded First-Class Honours in my undergraduate as well as 'Best Dissertation of the year' by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am seeking a potential career in academia so I truly feel passionate about engaging with the lesson plans on this platform and helping students feel confident in their essay writing.

Learn Armenian language, grammar, literature and history in Western Armenian.Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.
