I offer online Mathematics tutoring for Cambridge IGCSE and International A-Level students. I am currently studying Mathematics at University College Dublin and have around four years of tutoring experience.

My lessons are focused on helping students actually understand the topic, rather than just memorising steps. I explain concepts clearly, work through examples together and then help the student practise exam-style questions on their own.

I can help with weak topics, homework, revision, past papers and exam technique. Lessons are adapted to the student’s level, whether they need help with the basics or want to push towards a higher grade.

I currently teach Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580 and Cambridge International AS & A-Level Mathematics 9709 in English.

Extra information

About Me

I’m from Luxembourg and I’m currently studying Mathematics at University College Dublin. I’ve been tutoring IGCSE and A-Level students for around four years, and I really enjoy helping students understand topics that initially seem difficult.

I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, but I also make sure lessons stay focused and useful. I like to explain things step by step and give students enough time to work through questions themselves rather than just showing them the answer.

My main aim is to help students become more confident in maths, improve their problem-solving skills and feel better prepared for exams. I adapt my lessons depending on the student’s level, weaknesses and target grade.

I am currently studying Mathematics at University College Dublin. My degree includes areas such as calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics, differential equations and applied mathematics.

I previously studied Cambridge International A-Level Mathematics, so I am familiar with the syllabus, exam structure and the type of questions students are expected to answer.

Experience / Qualifications

I have around four years of tutoring experience, mainly working with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics students.

I have helped students with understanding difficult concepts, homework, topic revision, exam technique and past-paper practice. I usually identify the areas a student is struggling with, explain the topic clearly and then work through questions with them until they are able to solve similar problems independently.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons.
