I have specialized in online IB private tutoring for over five years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds who study at prestigious schools around the world. Alongside my academic achievements in IB Mathematics AA HL, IB Physics HL, and TOK, I have taken my academic experience further by conducting a Python-based research project in Computational Physics with Prof. Andy Haas, a physics professor at New York University.
I demonstrated outstanding performance in a class of approximately 150 students and was selected to serve as a teaching assistant for an Electricity and Magnetism course taught by Prof. Ahmet Nihat Berker, a former MIT physics professor. I also worked on an Ansys Maxwell-based electromagnetic simulation research project with Prof. Cengiz Polat Uzunoğlu, a professor in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, one of Turkey’s leading universities. Following an evaluation by the Vice Dean of Yıldız Technical University, I was invited to join the university’s Electrical and Electronics research and competition teams.
These experiences also enabled me to become a member of the Turkish Physical Society and to receive the Türkiye Technology Foundation Scholarship for two consecutive years, one of Turkey’s prominent engineering and technology scholarship programs.
To stay up to date with the IB curriculum, I regularly analyze past examination papers and incorporate exam-focused strategies into my lessons. To provide my students with additional resources, I share my own detailed revision notes for each topic, IA and EE writing guides, as well as selected examples of my own IA, EE, TOK Essay, and TOK Exhibition work, all of which received a score of 7. I also work through these materials with my students in detail, explaining the structure, reasoning, and techniques behind successful IB responses.
I believe one of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to simplify complex topics and explain them in a clear, structured, and exam-oriented way. I analyze different question types, identify the skills and concepts required to solve them, and help my students develop effective strategies rather than simply memorizing solutions. At the same time, I aim to create a calm, understanding, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and gradually becoming more confident and independent learners.

Throughout my IB tutoring experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students through UK-based TutorChase, Australia-based Top IB Tutors, and Turkey-based Mentör Özel Ders. I have conducted my lessons entirely in English, working with students from the United States, China, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, and other countries. In Turkey, I have also worked with students from leading schools such as Üsküdar American Academy, Şişli Terakki High School, and other prestigious high schools.
I have worked with more than 200 students to help them improve their academic performance, work toward achieving a 7 in their IB subjects, and complete their Internal Assessments more effectively. My main areas of expertise include IB Mathematics AA HL, IB Physics HL, and IB Chemistry SL, alongside IA support and broader academic guidance.
I currently teach SAT and English face-to-face at Veritas Academy, one of Turkey’s leading and most prestigious private tutoring and academic consulting institutions.
