Lebanese Bac Math & Physics: Understand Why, Not Just How
From 35 £ /h
Are you preparing for the Lebanese Baccalaureate and can follow the steps, but don’t know why they work? This class is for Grade 10 to 12 students who want to understand Math and Physics, not just memorize them.
I’m a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering with a Diplôme d’Ingénieur and 5 years of teaching experience. We start with a problem you find difficult, and I find exactly where your reasoning breaks. Then we work together, like colleagues, to understand the method and connect it to real life or to something you care about.
You will learn to:
Understand the reason behind each method
Solve unfamiliar questions on your own
Apply what you learn to past official exam questions
Feel calmer and more confident before exams
Make a clearer decision about your university path
AI can now solve almost any homework problem in seconds. But it won’t sit your exam for you. In this class, you learn how to study, how to think through new problems, and how to use tools like AI to reach your own goals.

About Me
Hi, I’m Ahmad. I teach Math and Physics to Grade 10 to 12 students, with a focus on the Lebanese Baccalaureate.
Many students come to me because they can follow the steps but don’t understand why they work. So I don’t ask them to memorize and repeat. We look at the problem together, and I connect it to real life or to something they care about.
My students usually describe me as an older brother and a mentor. They feel comfortable making mistakes and asking hard questions. I also hold them to a high standard, because I care about their results.
I especially enjoy working with students who ask “why?”, and with students who have lost confidence and want to rebuild it step by step. I can also guide students who aren’t sure which university path is right for them.
Outside of teaching, I do research on batteries and enjoy sports and technology.
