I am a graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a first class degree with honours in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences.

Mathematics is an essential subject studied by all students from prep school to GCSE class. Having adequate Maths knowledge also helps students understand science subjects such as Physics and Chemistry. Studying Maths has always been fun for me since I love finding the most efficient way to solve problems. I understand that not all students feel this way and that is why I am here to teach students not only the fundamental methods to solve Maths problems but also how closely related Maths is to our real world.

In my lessons, I will use Key Stage, AQA, and GCE Maths books with sample papers to explain the content thoroughly to my students. I will also offer class notes written by myself specifically for my students to help them grasp the knowledge in a clear layout.

Having completed both my GCSE and A-level studies in the UK, I have firsthand experience of studying and taking these exams and hope to deliver my tips to my students. I am fluent in English although my native language is Mandarin Chinese. Finally, as an older sibling, I have experience assisting my sister the whole way through her GCSE exams. I believe I am patient and eloquent when teaching younger students. I look forward to getting to know my students and helping them ace their upcoming exams.

I am an A level student who has received grades 7-9 in my GCSE, including 9s in both maths and Further maths. I am also currently taking Maths for A level. As someone who takes great responsibility in doing her job I will ensure to deliver my lessons so that your doubts and uncertainties on specific topics are gone. I prioritise my students’ academic performance and will ensure that they reach the level that they are expected to be at and beyond. Feel free to send me any questions that you are not confident in and I will try and answer them as soon as possible. GCSEs are surprisingly easy once you understand what you need to do. In this class, I can teach English Literature, Language, Maths and Further Maths at GCSE level.

For English, we will go over exactly what the mark scheme needs of them, learn close reading / critical thinking skills, write essays with structures that will help them beyond Undergraduate level, and create a long term revision plan which will see them achieve their goals.
