The class is designed around your particular needs:
- My approach to the subject is free and flexible;
- The lesson focuses on the main topics in the field of biology or more specific subjects such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or Microbiology;
- Lessons or repetitions are offered to anyone who needs (e.g. exam preparation, thesis or pure personal interest).
More than ten years in academia where I mentored almost 70 students. Additionally, I supervised six undergraduates for their laboratory work and thesis writing. One of them got a PhD fellowship in Cambridge.
Academic background:
I have conducted independent research for the last four years in the Apoptosis Research Group during my PhD in Ireland, focusing on the role of the Unfolded Protein Response in Breast Cancer. Research has also led me to co-author two publications including a recent publication in Nature Communication.
Awards:
- Summa cum laude for the master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology (2015)
- Winner of a position as Early-stage researcher in the Marie Curie action Innovative Training Network (2016)
- Winner of the the Beckman Fund Scholarship (2018)
- Top downloaded paper 2018-2019 in The FEBS Journal (2020)
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you reach your professional and academic goals!

About Me
I am a structured PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a strong expertise in cancer biology. My study experience started in Bologna where I graduated in Biological Sciences and in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I continued my career in Galway where I graduated in Molecular and Cellular Biology working in the field of breast cancer.
I am currently looking for a postdoctoral position. In the meantime, I enjoy my free time preparing classes and lesson for students helping them to reach their goals in their own academic journeys.
