I am a former U.S. diplomat and experienced educator with a passion for helping students understand the world and communicate with confidence. Before transitioning into education, I spent 16 years as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer, serving in Asia, Africa, and Washington, D.C. My career focused on diplomacy, international affairs, negotiation, technology policy, and cross-cultural communication.

Teaching has also been an important part of my career. I have taught English in the United States and abroad, served as a graduate teaching assistant in international relations at American University, and taught undergraduate students at the University of Maryland.
