I was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey, and just moved to Brussels to start my Master’s in Biology. My English is at a C1 level now, but I actually started learning it intensively at university in Turkey, where I reached B1. After that, I worked hard to get to C1, so I know a lot about what it takes to quickly improve a language!

Additionally, I started tutoring during the pandemic and quickly realised that I love teaching. Something is rewarding about helping people learn, and I’m excited to keep sharing what I know.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.

For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time.
