NidaFrench born and raised Tutor able to assist students from the age of 4 to 18
I was born and raised in France and moved to England at the age of 16, which means I completed my Brevet des Colleges in France including 1 year of Lycée. I have previous experience teaching students as I volunteered in a primary school back in 2013. I am able to help students improve their French, enabling them to become more confident in their speech as well assist them in any homework or proofreading of work. I am very flexible in terms of how the lesson will go, as I believe there is no one specific way of learning as everyone has different abilities and learning capacities.
ChristopheFrench: written/oral expression, grammar, conversation
Do you want to start learning French but have never learnt it before? Or maybe you want to perfect your understanding of French grammar, or your capacity to express yourself clearly, spontaneously and with confidence in French? Or work on pronunciation, perhaps improve your accent and learn more about French culture? I can help you with all of these, and not only because I was born and raised in France: after getting my Master's Degree in Lingustics and Anthropology from the School for Advanced Research in Paris - at the time I was also teaching private classes of French and English to high school and university students - I moved to the UK and studied theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. There I worked on the skills any speaker needs to communicate clearly and convincingly: diction, voice projection, etc. These two approaches - linguistics, and theatre work - give me a strong foundation from which to help any student learn French. So jump on: we'll build a learning program tailored to your needs and make sure that the lessons are both dense and fun.

MariaFrench, affordable and for all levels and purposes!
For all levels, for both children and adults, and diploma preparation. All aspects of the language would be targeted during the lessons, emphasizing those desired by the student (ex: conversational, grammar) Depending on the level and the method of study will be adapted to each student, with outside-of-class follow up. The classes will be conducted in either English, French, or both, once again depending on the needs and the level of the student. Classes focused on the reinforcement of the language can also be organised, focused on specific topics that the student is interested in, which will allow the student not to lose the language and to develop further their knowledge of lexicon in the specific area. In what concerns diploma preparation, the lessons will focus on the particularities of the tests (timing, response format, lexicon, etc).

DeaExplore the diverse cultures of the Arab world, and learn their language
It’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to learn Arabic by transcribing words instead of learning the alphabet first. Think about how we learned English back in school. First, you learn your letters, then you form those letters into words, then you learn how to form sentences, and then you learn more about proper syntax and grammar. Taking shortcuts will only slow you down. The best way to learn a new word is to see it, hear it, write it and speak it, so combine those activities as much as you can.
GiuliaBuongiorno amici! - Learn ITALIAN, the most melodious language ever
Are you looking forward to learn Italian with young and enthusiastic native speaker? This is the class for you! I can't wait to teach you all I know about my wonderful language, using both traditional methods (grammar is so important!) and alternative ones, like some of the most beautiful Italian songs. And, who knows, maybe I will teach you also some super tasty Italian recipes! I also teach Italian for the working sector, which is very different from the informal one and requires a specific focus on formal writing and speaking. 1. For Children: with young learners, I start from the basis and my purpose is to show them how entertaining can be learning a language. I do pronunciation, listening, speaking, writing and grammar as well, all step by step. 2. For Adults: I will focus even more on the speaking and writing parts, CLIL words and grammar. Without losing the fun of learning something so great!

Depending on your goals, I will focus each lesson on a different topic, providing you with the relevant notes and material. First I will give you an explanation of the grammar and we will then practice it through conversation. At the end of every lesson, I will ask you some question to test your understanding. If there is anything in particular you want to learn, I am very happy to fulfill your requests and to structure every lesson according to your interest.
