About course:

You are going to develop 4 skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. These skills will be acquired by doing different tasks and activities.
I like to focus on grammar, conversation, and writing. In my classes, you will use a variety of materials such as PDF's, slides, photos, computer graphics, music, and videos. In addition, I like to change my educational techniques in order to find the best way for you to acquire the language. I can explain in both languages, this decision is up to you, but I recommend you to use as much Spanish as you could.

About me:

I am a certified Spanish teacher with studies in professional writing, but more than anything I am a language lover. Now I'm studying Language and Literature at university. I have experience as a teacher and as a language learner. English is my second language, and now I'm studying French. I love writing, reading, watching shows and movies, and also listening to music and playing instruments.

I hope to see you in class and have the opportunity to share culture, experiences, and of course... LANGUAGE!

Hello, everybody! Nowadays studying languages is indispensable, but many times you find yourself with many difficulties, bad teachers, bad methods or very little motivation. More than a teacher I am a language lover and I strongly support the immersion in a language to be able to learn it.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
