About Me
I enjoy reading, writing and going to the theatre and cinema.
At university, I was president of the Cambridge Footlights and spent many years writing and performing theatre and comedy shows for a variety of audiences, both in the UK and US.
Since leaving university, I have become interested in a career in education and child psychotherapy. This interest has taken me to a training course at the charity Place2Be, which provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools.
Now that I am living in Paris and learning French, I have become interested in the possibilities of bilingual education, and what this might mean for the emotional development of children and adolescents.
I have also worked as a volunteer for the charity 'Hackney Pirates', which aims to improve the literacy and numeracy of primary and secondary school children through one-to-one tuition.
