About Me

I have recently moved to Paris after spending 6 months in Cairo. Before that I spent a year and a half in Toulouse learning French so I understand the difficulties of learning a new language!
In general, I am a very friendly and positive teacher and happy to change methods depending on your learning style.

One of the games we play that kids love is The Grocer, where they sell or buy the items on display. We also play The Pub ( restaurant) and we use real menus and paper money. There's lots of signing and dancing, of course....

For the older kids, we work on things such as poetry, audio-skills by watching and discussing video clips, and lots more. I have one ESL student who is interested in literature and we tackled some of the easier classics like Hemingway. I also assign projects such as creating an English YouTube channel, a comic book series, cooking presentations, to name some of the best projects I've had over the years.
