I hold my Masters and Pedagogical License from the Royal Academy of Music in London. After graduating, I was mentored in cello pedagogy by the Head of Music for the Junior Royal Academy of Music. I served as Head of Music at an outstanding school in London with a strings specialty. I taught strings, music theory, and music appreciation to over 400 students. I have a particular passion for nurturing a passion and dedication to music in young children, and have extensive experience teaching children of all ages. Katherine has been vocally trained in contemporary for 25 years and studied classical voice for three years. After developing Muscular Tension Dysphonia in 2010 and not singing for almost two years, she overcame this vocal disorder after working with some of the best voice and voice rehabilitation specialists in the UK. This experience further motivated her interest in teaching the following to her students in contemporary voice* using knowledge and training gained by renowned vocal coaches, ENTs and voice rehabilitation specialists:
