With over a decade of experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral cellist, Daniel brings a wealth of expertise to his teaching. He tailors his lessons to each student's individual needs, regardless of age or experience. Daniel's teaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation, which serves as a springboard for musical expression. His approach draws from various methodologies such as ABRSM, AMEB, Kodaly, Tortelier, and Feuillard schools, Suzuki method, and his own compositions, resulting in a customized strategy for each student.

I offer private cello lessons, at your home or mine! I really like teaching, I have had cello students (music theory and tutoring as well) for 6 years and my contact with them is always very good. I am passionate about teaching, about how different personalities work and the issues specific to them and I am therefore always looking for new ways to teach them this beautiful instrument. I obtained my DEM (diploma of musical studies) in June 2024, which attests to my technical and musical level; this is why I am able to help students get started as well as help others who are already learning, up to the 3rd cycle of the conservatory for example. Hello! I've been teaching continuously for over 10 years, and I'd like to explain what you can expect from a class with me. Personalized approach: The most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I will tailor the lessons to your needs: playing for pleasure at home is not the same as preparing for entrance exams (although always with the same rigor). Your goals will influence the methodology, the organization of your studies, the repertoire, and so on. Relaxed (but rigorous) environment: Once you've defined your goals, classes will be dynamic and pressure-free. Note! "Relaxed" doesn't mean undemanding; we'll just avoid military methods—especially given my personality and sense of humor. Music, not just notes: My methods are very dynamic, with a special emphasis on hearing and musicality. No "read, play, and turn the page." I avoid approaches obsessed with reading sheet music without memorizing, listening, or understanding what is being played. I want you to own your performance and make artistic decisions. Warning! I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.
