As a PhD student, I specialize in german art history of the Renaissance. I'm tutoring at university since 2017 and to pupil since 2011. I offer art history courses for beginners or advanced students, or visits of Parisian museums.

I suggest several course-package:

About Me

PhD Student in art History at University of Picardie and University of Munich, I'm teaching history of sculpture and history of jewels at the école du Louvre in Paris. This website allows me to share further my passion for the subject and address to non-specialized students.

As a master student in art history, I offer college support courses in high school and also for undergraduate students in art history. The subjects for which I offer my help for tutoring are the following: French, history-geography, English and Spanish

Native Italian lector graduated in Art History in Florence gives lessons in Italian language and culture. I propose conversation classes in Italian to improve your oral level of French as well as more specific classes in Art History (Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque). I am also available for translations and corrections.

I give private lessons in art history for three years, either for students who need an accompaniment, or for the curious who want to enrich their artistic culture.

My teaching adapts precisely to the needs of each student and especially to their way of assimilating information.
Former student in difficulty, I developed a method that allows to analyze any type of work, from classical to contemporary, without prior knowledge.
I am specialized in the methodology of dissertation / dissertation according to the rules of the French University. (Construction of the plan, development of a common thread, layout etc.)

Passionate, I also like to transmit the wonderful stories of the works during introductory courses in art history, artistic culture or guided tours of the museum.

My classes are also convivial moments where we can talk about our personal interests, which allows me to direct my students to exhibitions, readings or events related to their subject.

My goal is obviously to make my students autonomous, so I give them all the tools they need to know how to provide excellent work without being dependent on the particular teacher at the end of the year.

- Zaïd: redoubling for the second time his degree in Visual Arts at the Sorbonne because of theoretical subjects, passed his exams successfully this year. He regained confidence and taste to study.

-Claire: student at Boulle school in woodcarving redoubled because of his memory. I supervised him in the writing of his new dissertation mixing literary analysis, artistic and scientific discoveries. She validated it brilliantly.

-Tian: 30 years old, Chinese student, had no knowledge of Western art history. After a year of private lessons, she was admitted to the GRETA School of Tour Guides.

-Aude: I guide Aude and her two teenage children in the big museums to discover the little stories behind each painting. From the Palais de Tokyo to the Louvre Museum I invent for them playful ways to apprehend the works.

- Jacqueline: 94 years old, had lost her good humor and was bored. For 2 years now, we have met every week for a moment of sharing and exchange around artistic themes chosen especially for her. It’s a joy for everyone.

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language?
I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with.
Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation.

As Interior Architecture; drawing as well as painting and art history are very important subjects for a future artist.

The courses I teach aim to provide students with historical knowledge allowing them to progress to school by improving their grades on the one hand but also by acquiring some methods of work on the other hand: methods analysis, collection and sorting of information that can serve them in other subjects but also in their daily lives.

Finally, it is about awakening students' consciousness about the world in which they live. Indeed, the history of societies is the result of several developments that spread over time. The pupils are thus results of the History but also actors of this one.

D in Cultural Interaction Studies and 6 years international teaching experiences in higher education, I have designed curriculum on art history and cultural history for students in Japan, US and China. This class invites people who are interested in Chinese culture to take a promenade with me in Chinese aesthetics. You will have a thorough understanding of the origin and development of the refined and elegant taste in Chinese art. After this class, you will be able to tell the authentic Chinese art from the counterfeit poorly produced by Hollywood and Disney, and master la langue chinoise soutenue.

Graduated from the Ecole de Louvre and Paris Sorbonne IV in Art History, I offer courses in Art History (all periods combined), History, English and French (for English speakers) . I can supplement these courses with general culture courses, preparation for the Ecole du Louvre competitive examination.
