Learning French: strengthening the mastery of the language or French as a foreign language (FLE)
From 23.22 £ /h
This course corresponds to learning or strengthening the French language: we will work on oral and written comprehension and expression. Each session will start from a theme related to current events or culture to more easily study the rules of grammar, syntax, conjugation and develop vocabulary. Each time we will see a specific grammatical theme for which I will have designed comprehension and expression exercises. In order to diversify the approaches to the language, we will rely on different media: newspaper articles, extracts from podcasts, extracts from films, books, songs, ... I will explain to you each time their context of publication!
I designed this course so that it can be adapted to the learners: each person being different, it seems important to me to take into account the methods and needs of each one.
French is my first language but I can use English if necessary.

About Me
Hello!
I am a PhD student in Comparative Literature at UPEC. I love teaching and I would like to finance part of my studies, which is why I registered on this platform. I just graduated a Research MA in Comparative Literature at ENS of Lyon and a Teaching MA in Modern Literature by holding Agrégation of Modern Literature.
In parallel to my studies, I volunteered for two years by teaching French as foreign language in an association who aims to help people recently arrived in France not only to learn or master French language but also to familiarise with the culture. Moreover, I realized a year of lectorship at Charles University of Praha (Czechia) whereI mainly taught French civilisation, language and literature.
As a person curious and eager for new experiences, I have always been involved in many activities related to communication: from cultural and radio journalism to curating exhibitions (with cultural mediations), art and theatre, these activities have allowed me to develop other ways of sharing knowledge. I try to draw as much inspiration from them as possible to make my lessons more enjoyable and relevant! For me, it is important to adapt to learners: teaching is therefore a passion that can be learnt through years of experience as well as encounters with students.
