After having finished the International Baccalaureate at a United World College, I continued getting my BA in World Politics (cum laude) and am currently getting my master's degree at Sciences Po Paris in European Affairs. For my HL classes, I received a 7 in Global Politics, a 6 in History, and a 7 in English Lang&Lit.

I started tutoring in my own neighborhood from the age of 14, but have since gained 5 years of professional tutoring experience, including by working as a college-level student assistant. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied in the Netherlands, Armenia, Norway, and Egypt; all these places have shown me what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I strongly understand how essays should be structured and what exam strategies work best to achieve the highest results.

Extra information

I always prefer students to inform me well in advance of any topics they struggle most with. This way, I can prepare the necessary materials to enhance the tutoring session. However, I also understand that students can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the amount of work and are not sure where to start. Together, we can figure out what your strengths are as well as any weaknesses.

Hello! My name is Arno and I have been tutoring for as long as I can remember. I am currently living in Paris on my way to get a master's degree in European Affairs at Sciences Po Paris. Before that, I got my BA in World Politics (cum laude) from Leiden University. I love tutoring as a way to help other people unlock their potential. The SAT is a landmark exam for many high school students. A good exam score can be instrumental in college admissions. This course is designed to provide students with resources to set a goal score, make a study plan, and feel confident on test day. I got a 1530 on my most recent SAT, and I am dedicated to uplifting students to and beyond that score.
I can help specifically with the English and Math multiple choice parts of the exam. With students I will cover both content, the information being tested on the exam, and testing strategies, how to more efficiently and effectively take the test. The essay portion of the SAT has mostly been discontinued, so I don't cover it when tutoring for the exam.
