Private English-French course (college or literary) -philosophie

From 22 £ /h

I am a student in applied foreign languages. I got a bac L specialty English (mention good). I propose private lessons

- English. Learn the basics in grammar, conjugation, vocabulary, comprehension of texts, oral and written expression. Suitable for beginners, college students or high school students who pass their baccalaureate. We progress at the pace of the student, with exercises and some homework to continue to train without overloading the student.

- Of philosophy. Suitable for high school students with difficulties in philosophy, especially for the analysis of text or dissertation (bac preparation). Being a literary baccalaureate, I studied most philosophers, and I can help for the methodology of the controls

- Of French. For foreigners or not. I can teach spelling, grammar, improve expression in general. I would give some exercises to learn how to avoid recurring mistakes.

Whatever the person or level, I adapt and work according to the pace of each.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies.

I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

This class is about learning Tunisian Arabic to easily interact with Tunisians. Tunisian Arabic is not the first dialect you hear about when you start to learn Arabic, but it is indeed one of the most fascinating and useful, especially if you are working in Tunisia, your partner is Tunisian or you are into North African social studies.
It occurred to you to be told that Tunisian Arabic has no grammatical or syntactic rules because it's not real Arabic? Well, that's not true! I can reveal you some tips to speak and sound Tunisian even if you don't know anything about Arabic. We will talk, play, watch videos from Tunisian tv programs and learn about language and culture.

I also do transcriptions and translations of documents and videos into French and Italian for academic researchers, journalists, and entrepreneurs.

English, although it is an easier language than some others, can, at times, prove to be complicated.

Bilingual following my childhood spent in England, I offer support from elementary school to high school (and more), whatever your level (basic or not).

Whether it is for a school aid or to better understand English, speak it, review basics that have not been completely acquired, build sentences, write paragraphs, analyze words and use them, improve pronunciation, spelling, translating, or just conversing in English ..., I offer my help.

My services in learning English are quite broad: we will analyze what you are missing and I will adapt the course according to your needs, so that it is no longer a problem.

My name is Joana. I am a native Spanish teacher, with a degree in Spanish Literature and Language and a Master's degree in Spanish as a foreign language (UNED Faculty).
■ Since 2009 I have been working at the Cervantes Institute as an OFFICIAL EXAMINER of DELE diplomas (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language)
(I am fluent in French, so during the course I give all the necessary explanations in French on grammatical rules or vocabulary.
Having extensive teaching experience, I prepare students/adults for all levels of the DELE Spanish Diplomas and for all official Spanish exams within Universities.
● Spanish courses for adults who intend to travel or live in a Spanish-speaking country.
● Specialized fun Spanish courses for children (6-13 years old), audiovisual material, interactive games on the internet, choice of textbooks taking into account their age. Children learn the language through experiences and experiences while having fun.
● Help with school homework/exams for French students (all levels, + preparation for BTS, CNED)
● Spanish courses for adults who use Spanish in a professional context (Business Spanish: tourism/restaurants, law, etc.)
● Spanish pronunciation/phonetics/conversation courses (exercises provided by the Cervantes Institute). During my Master's degree, I specialized in Spanish phonetics for foreigners. Students can achieve a very good level of oral production even if they are beginners* :)
● Written production, grammar, oral and written comprehension.
● Spanish civilization course.
I live in Spain, so I give all my classes on Skype.
Skype classes are very flexible and as effective as face-to-face classes! (100% success rate for all Cervantes Institute DELE diplomas and all university exams!)
■ COMPLETE learning materials provided to all my students according to their personal level/age/interests (DELE preparation manual, grammar book, pronunciation guide, notes, mp3 audios)

I will be happy to read from you.

A greeting,
Johanne :) 👩🏻‍🏫🇪🇸

Hello! I'm a native Italian speaker with a Master's degree in Education from the University of Bologna, and I'd love to help you learn Italian. I have experience teaching all ages: with children, I use games and play to introduce the language and build confidence; with teenagers, I offer grammar/ speaking/writing/homework/exams lessons tailored to their needs; and with adults, I design engaging lessons for anyone who wants to learn Italian, whether for travel, work, or pure passion.
I also spent a year teaching in English at a Montessori school in Dublin, so I can offer English lessons too, especially for young children taking their first steps in the language.

**Français**
Bonjour !

Hello! I offer academic support for elementary and middle school students to help them better understand their lessons, get organized, and gradually become more independent. This includes completing and understanding homework, reviewing lessons covered in class, preparing for tests and assessments, improving their organization and study methods, and working on their French and English skills.
I adapt to each child's needs by prioritizing simple explanations, patience, and a working method tailored to their pace.

As a CELTA (Cambridge) certified teacher, I favor a communicative, interactive, and learner-centered approach. I adapt each lesson to the level, objectives, and pace of my students, combining grammar, vocabulary, and practical application. My goal is to develop their confidence, independence, and ability to communicate naturally in English.
