My priority as a teacher is to nurture my student’s passion for music. It is essential that playing the drums remains, above all, a fun and stimulating experience, and that studying is a consequence of this passion. Therefore I am devoted to fostering one's desire to improve, and I do provide all the tools necessary to overcome the challenges that you may face along the way. I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. Beatboxing is a relatively unknown discipline, even though it allows for an absolutely incredible musical variety: percussion, whistles, bass, special sounds straight out of an alien movie... our body is an instrument in itself, and learning beatbox is accessible to everyone! I'll take you step by step, starting with easy and useful sounds, gradually moving towards impressive, fun sounds, or those of your choice.
