About Me

Hi! My name is Anna, and I am a professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach.

I perform in jazz, pop, and rock projects, work both on stage and in the studio, write original music, and help singers of all levels discover the full potential of their voices.

I truly believe that everyone can learn to sing. Some people progress faster, some slower, but every voice can be developed with the right guidance, understanding, and practice. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel free to explore their voices, experiment, make mistakes, and grow with confidence.

As a teacher, I adapt my approach to each student because no two voices are the same. I love finding the explanation that finally "clicks" for a student. I often use simple images, analogies, and practical exercises to make complex vocal concepts easy to understand and apply immediately.

My lessons focus not only on vocal technique but also on musicality and artistic expression. I teach students how to feel the music, connect emotionally with a song, and communicate its message authentically. Good singing is not only about hitting the right notes - it is about telling a story and creating an emotional connection with the audience.

I offer singing and music theory lessons for all ages, from beginners to people wishing to join professional singing classes.

I also practice vocal coaching for actors, teachers, lawyers ... or anyone else who wants it.

My pedagogy develops first of all on the work of the body with exercises that are inspired by Qi-Qong, Yoga or even the martial arts that I have practiced for more than fifteen years.

I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I have also studied music in Dublin Ireland, where I acquired a Higher Certificate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre's Berklee Track program which is facilitated by Berklee College of Music in Boston. For any singing practice, whether variety singing (pop, rock) or opera singing, part of the singing course should ideally incorporate practical work on technique and vocal anatomy. I am a professional singer with more than 10 years of vocal training and performance experience. I will help you to explore and develop your own voice and give you proper knowledge of your instrument.
I am in love with music since my childhood and started learning the piano and violin at the age of 7. Since singing has always been my main passion, I started taking classical singing lessons at the age of 12 and contemporary singing a few years later. After finishing my high school education, I decided to move to London to get a wider perspective, where I started writing and realising my own songs and where I got to play in many venues such as The O2 Islington, 229 Venue, the Blues Kitchen among others with my full band. I also participated in some singing contests, such as Britain Does Variety and Open Mic UK, becoming a Grand Finalist on both shows. All this allowed me to earn stage presence, experience and to improve my skills as a songwriter, performer, bandleader and music arranger. In 2016, I started my education at BIMM, where I graduated from a BETC Diploma on Popular Music Performance (Vocals) and a BMus (Hons) Degree on Popular Music Performance (Vocals). My passion for music and psychology led me to do my final degree dissertation on the link between creativity and mental health, which opened my curiosity about music and vocal therapy, A subject I have been exploring and I like to apply on my lessons.
I've been teaching contemporary singing since 2016.
I'm passionate about taking care of my students' vocal health.
