SuzieAcademic support in French, English and / or history for primary and secondary
I am French by birth and have obtained my graduation diploma with honors! I love pedagogy and I consider that at this level, if the student does not have a good result nothing is lost it is enough to adapt the method of teaching - which is impossible when one has a whole class but quite possible during private lessons! I am very invested and attach great importance to the quality of teaching as well as the results obtained and to obtain!
GuillaumeCourse of support in stakes and theories of international relations
Studying international relations is opening up to a field that is vast, exciting, demanding and rich in many opportunities. To better understand them, it is useful to rely on theoretical tools and practical data that can be as solid as possible.
Graduate teacher (Ph.D. in Political Science) and experienced, I taught international relations in several universities and with learners of different levels (beginner, intermediate and / or advanced). While teaching, I participate in several international initiatives, which allowed me to develop a practical knowledge.
The course offered is based on different media including many text extracts, maps, visuals, sound clips and short videos. It is based on a pedagogy centered on the learner, on his learning and on his ability to progress step by step.
It is divided into three stages (more or less detailed depending on the initial level of the learner):
1. an introductory time targeting the definition of the field of study, its main actors, key historical and geographical elements.
2. the exploration of theories of international relations (authors and key texts, characteristics): liberalism, realism, constructivism, post-positivist approaches, critical approaches (Marxism, feminism, post-colonial perspective, green theory) and sectoral (geopolitics, strategic studies).
3. a more specific work proposal on one or more case studies selected by the learner, and discussed in common.
