My name is Luisa. I'm from Spain and I am studying a Master's degree in classical music at Codarts.

I studied the bachelor in Madrid and then I came here to do the Master last year. At the same time that I was studying I started teaching, this was a revelation for me, I love and enjoy to teach and share what I know about music. So if you want to learn and enjoy this beautiful instrument, I will be happy to help you!

I have experience with both children and adults. I use methods from different pedagogies in my lessons, combining them in a different way for every student according to their neccesities and always with creativity.

In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. Hello! My name is Alberto. I am a clarinet player who graduated from Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam). I am specialized in Classical Music, though I can teach also Jazz in a beginner to intermediate level.

I have always had a deep interest in chamber music, teaching and improvisation and I would like to be able to show you this passion.
The focus of my lessons is to show the possibilities of music, adapting to the student needs, going from clarinet technique to theory, other styles of music such us Klezmer, Jazz, basic piano, as well as learning how to play the bass clarinet.

My name is Juan, I am a Spanish born flutist that works internationally, and nowadays I'm based in Rotterdam. I have already finished two Master degrees and a Bachelor with some of the worlds best professors and institutions: Robert Winn in the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Germany), and Jacques Zoon in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (Madrid).

The internet is full of videos and tutorials about songs, chords, scales, licks and even music theory. But if you're tired of playing that song, or that lick, without being able to change it, then this class is for you. Before I entered the conservatory, I could never really understand what I was playing. And that was preventing me from expressing my musicality. By this I mean, I wasn't able to change a chord, or do a variation on a melody, or even creating an Intro. And this requires not so hard skills that can easily be developed just by thinking in music by its harmonical context. Hey there! My name is Yorgos and I am a guitar performer and instructor. Originating from Greece I embarked on musical journey to the Netherlands because of its reach musical scene. For the past eleven years I have been pursuing my musical career in the city of Rotterdam and have been teaching in various musical styles and ages.

At the age of fourteen, I picked up a guitar, and two decades later, it feels like an extension of my soul. With over twenty years of experience strumming and shaping melodies, I’ve spent eleven of those years sharing my passion as a private instructor and performer. My musical journey has led me to teach a diverse range of students—from seven-year-olds to adults—covering everything from the pop and blues to the soulful depths of rock, jazz, funk, and folk.
During my studies at the Royal Conservatory I learned the how work with the basics of the Kodaly solmisation system and In addition I taught ensemble lessons at the International School of The Hague. Further on, I got the opportunity to develop my knowledge on music theory, and gained experience with rhythmic, melodic solfège and sightreading.

These are topics I always like to include in my lessons, because I find them very important not only for the personal growth of each musician, but also for the deeper connection they create between the musician and the instrument.
Finally, even though I like incorporating all the elements mentioned above into my lessons I foremost focus on tailoring the lessons around the needs of every student and helping in any way I can their growth of musical curiosity.

What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam.
