Hey there! My name is Yorgos and I am a guitar performer and instructor. Originating from Greece I embarked on musical journey to the Netherlands because of its reach musical scene. For the past eleven years I have been pursuing my musical career in the city of Rotterdam and have been teaching in various musical styles and ages.

At the age of fourteen, I picked up a guitar, and two decades later, it feels like an extension of my soul. With over twenty years of experience strumming and shaping melodies, I’ve spent eleven of those years sharing my passion as a private instructor and performer. My musical journey has led me to teach a diverse range of students—from seven-year-olds to adults—covering everything from the pop and blues to the soulful depths of rock, jazz, funk, and folk.
During my studies at the Royal Conservatory I learned the how work with the basics of the Kodaly solmisation system and In addition I taught ensemble lessons at the International School of The Hague. Further on, I got the opportunity to develop my knowledge on music theory, and gained experience with rhythmic, melodic solfège and sightreading.

These are topics I always like to include in my lessons, because I find them very important not only for the personal growth of each musician, but also for the deeper connection they create between the musician and the instrument.
Finally, even though I like incorporating all the elements mentioned above into my lessons I foremost focus on tailoring the lessons around the needs of every student and helping in any way I can their growth of musical curiosity.

This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam.
I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager.

In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc.

With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music.

As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85.

My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

My name is Juan, I am a Spanish born flutist that works internationally, and nowadays I'm based in Rotterdam. I have already finished two Master degrees and a Bachelor with some of the worlds best professors and institutions: Robert Winn in the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Germany), and Jacques Zoon in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (Madrid).

Since many years, I work and collaborate with many different symphony orchestras as principal flute, soloist or piccolo flute, as well as with chamber music groups and ensembles. You can check the links below to listen some of my performances! :)

I have a very wide teaching experience. I've been teaching for around 10 years now, in many different institutions: high development schools, orchestras, private schools, private students... and nowadays live and/ or online!

I can teach all flute levels, from initiation to preparation for bachelor, master or orchestral auditions. I have a wide knowledge of the repertoire, and I've worked on it with many of the best flutists we have today: Formisano, Baerten, Grehl, Franz... I am Julia, a classical violin player. I studied at Codarts university in Rotterdam and played in an Orchestral Academy for a year in Spain. I discovered I enjoy teching very much while following a minor in education during my bachelor. Throughout the course I learned pedagogy, didactics and methodology, and worked with students of different ages and levels of experience. I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and challenges me to be more imaginative and flexible.

The lessons are tailor-made. This means that the goals are going to be adapted to YOUR wishes taking in account previous experience, expectations and musical taste. Even though I have a classical training, I am open to work with different styles. I teach children from 5 years old onwards and adults.

The internet is full of videos and tutorials about songs, chords, scales, licks and even music theory. But if you're tired of playing that song, or that lick, without being able to change it, then this class is for you. Before I entered the conservatory, I could never really understand what I was playing. And that was preventing me from expressing my musicality. By this I mean, I wasn't able to change a chord, or do a variation on a melody, or even creating an Intro. And this requires not so hard skills that can easily be developed just by thinking in music by its harmonical context. In my lessons I'll garantee you learn all this skills and you start making music since the very first day.

Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam.
