About Me

Italian singer, songwriter and artist (Rome), I moved to Amsterdam in 2008, where I perfected my vocal technique with the professional course Estill Voice and shared my music on various stages and festivals. I was also part of the pop-gospel a cappella choir SingerG and joined the dance-theatre collective Mono Collective as an actress, dancer, musician and singer.
Since 2013, based in Brussels, I have turned to electroacoustics and am pursuing a master's degree in acousmatic music composition at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. My solo project, launched in 2015, places the voice at the heart of a sound universe, mixing effects, loops and electronic textures. My first album Contezza (February 2024) has been critically acclaimed, described by Pitchfork as "a bewitching spell with atmospheric electroacoustic arrangements and bewitching vocals".
My music, both organic and immaterial, frequently accompanies collaborative projects in the fields of theater, dance, cinema and live performances, often in connection with socio-political and historical themes. My compositions have been presented in various productions, ranging from documentaries to stage performances (theater and dance) and philosophical salons.

Education

I obtained certificates for the Estill Voice Singing Technique (EVT): Levels 1, 2 and Advanced with Helga S. Westmark and Dorthe Hyldstrup (Amsterdam-Holland).

I took private lessons with the same technique with Marcello Zempt (Amsterdam-Holland) from 2009 to 2012. During the same years I was mezzo-soprano for the group SingerG: choir gospel and pop directed by Toiny Tune (Amsterdam- Holland)

I started teaching vocal technique classes in 2011 in the dance theater collective of which I was a part.
