Hello,

My name is Erin. I am a 22 year old qualified native British teacher and corporate trainer living in Alicante city.

I started my teaching journey over three years ago now, teaching a long the way business English, exam English, general English, conversation practice and interview practice classes.

I have taught in many places - Public schools, academies, summer camps and online classes. I have many clients both personal and professional - teaching companies such as SGS, Motor flash, Brothers, Inditex and Santillana as well as teach personal classes for groups and individuals ranging from starters-C2 levels.

I cover exam classes (Cambridge, TOEFL, Language Cert and Duolingo) where I have a 100% pass-rate. Exam classes focus solely on you; where we go at your pace and we go forward for the exams when I feel confident you are ready.

I have taught many ages over the couple of years since becoming a teacher; where my groups and students have ranged from 3 years old to over 75 years old. Therefore I am very flexible and understanding.

I tailor my classes based on your abilities and needs. First classes with me are always based on observing and asking you what you would like to achieve during the duration of our time together; in order to maximise the best of your abilities to speak English.

We will focus on the four key parts of the exam; where we will focus in-depth using a range of methods that I teach.

Currently classes can only be done via webcam; however in November (2021) I will be back in Alicante city for students looking to have classes face-to-face.

I started my career as an English language teacher in 2008 and soon became very passionate about language learning and teaching. This culminated in a Masters degree in second-language acquisition and a CELTA Certificate from Dundee College. I specialised in Trinity and Cambridge exams and also in conversational English for practical and everyday use.

After many years overseas, both teaching and examining English, I have returned to Spain and am available to share my extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of English. I currently work as an Aviation teacher in a school in Alicante where I have taught for some years.

My teaching approach is student-centred and communicative, where learning is a positive experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All my students are encouraged to speak as much as possible to increase fluency. Professionalism, patience and a good sense of humour guaranteed!

All lesson materials are provided free of charge. I teach using a mixture of coursebook material , whiteboard presentations, listening activities, video clips and general speaking practice.

While my classes are 100% in English, I can also speak Spanish and some Italian words. This gives me a real insight as to why students make certain mistakes, and how to best avoid them. I really enjoy teaching and helping people improve and grow in confidence.
