About Me

My name is Dorelle, and I have been playing the cello and piano since childhood. I grew up in Paris and pursued a double degree in music and 3D animation, as I’ve always been passionate about the arts in all their forms. Teaching has always been an essential part of my journey, alongside my professional career as a cellist in various ensembles and orchestras.

My lessons adapt to any age, any level, any musical taste.
Classical, pop, film music, improvisation... Anything is possible and open to exploration!

Over the years, I built a small class of students, happily teaching music theory and cello side by side when needed — which creates a solid foundation for progress. Additionally, I worked as an assistant teacher at the Huy Academy for three summers, working with both children and adults.

For me, music is an enriching experience based on exchange. I enjoy working and playing alongside my students because it creates a friendly and motivating environment. I guide children with interactive and playful methods, and offer adults and teenagers a structured approach to progress with confidence.

What I propose :
✔️ A relaxed posture – Learn to play efficiently and without tension.
✔️ A personalized approach – Lessons adapted to your musical taste and goals.
✔️ Building confidence – Develop technique, musicality, and self-expression.
✔️ A safe space – It’s okay to make mistakes. Be kind to yourself!

Explore the secrets of the acoustic and electric guitar at any age!
" UNIQUE " What if telling your story with music could be fun and playful? Don't waste hours going around in circles, constantly searching for videos on YouTube to learn in a simple and structured way. To finally be able to express your feelings, your emotions, all through the guitar? It's possible! And what we'll see through my lessons: you'll learn how to tune the instrument, practice its first chords, and quickly play your first songs. Develop your ear and musical identity by exploring styles such as pop, rock, country, blues, jazz, bossa nova, funk just to name a few. Discover and explore the richness of scales and modes to combine them with playing expressions like hammer-ons, pull-offs, legato, bends... Does that sound like Chinese to you? I understand. Through my lessons, all of this will no longer hold any secrets for you! Whether you have no experience or a few weeks of practice under your belt, we will go step by step, taking into account your level, so that you progress at your own pace. Without forgetting the most important thing: have fun!

PLACES, FEES - Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.
