About Me

Greetings!

I'm Alejandra, a cellist originally from Panama and currently residing in Brussels. My journey with the violoncello began at the Escuela Juvenil de Musica del INAC, leading me to further studies at the Universidad de Panamá. With a passion for both traditional and innovative teaching methods, I bring over a decade of experience to the world of violoncello education.

My rich background includes participation in international festivals and projects across the Americas and Europe. In Panama, I served as the main violoncello teacher at the Instituto Nacional de Música Narciso Garay and played a key role in the Red Nacional de Orquestas Infantiles y Juveniles de Panamá as national coordinator of violoncello. In this capacity, I was responsible for shaping the violoncello curriculum and developing programs to be implemented nationwide. Additionally, during this period, I earned certification as an early music stimulation teacher for kids aged 3 to 6 years. This certification emphasizes a holistic development approach for children through music.

I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in cello performance at LUCA School of Arts under the mentorship of Amy Norrington.

Experienced didgeridoo player to teach how to play the instrument. I offer classes at my home or at the student's home, or in the open air if the weather is nice. I can teach you basics, advanced techniques, and structures to play well. I also have a lot of exercises to work specific muscles.

Getting to make the sound is the first step. The basic sound, the drone is not obtained only by blowing in the instrument but by squeezing the lips slightly by letting them vibrate. Then there are 3 types of breaths to master. From a type of circular breathing already the game can become richer because the sound is continuously ....

Hello everyone, I am teaching the classical guitar, sometimes called Spanish or acoustic guitar. The repertoire is very large, it goes from the baroque period to nowadays, going through Spanish or South American music.
The music is read with a score and not a tablature. I use a progressive method to begin, it brings a playful approach to solfeggio in order to develop the basics of music reading .
We will be also able to approach stronger pieces from the repertoire for the most advanced players.

I accept students of all ages and backgrounds, from a beginner level to a collegiate-preparatory level.
I have been developing my teaching method for over ten years. My primary goal is to help my students understand the deep connections in themselves and between others that music can build. With the understanding that musical motivations are highly personalized, I work with each student to precisely define their goals and create a straightforward path towards achievement.
My program is clear and concise, but highly adjusted for each individual. Starting with a strong foundation of technical work including scales, exercises, theoretical and note reading work, I ensure the optimal set up for each student to be able to play with confidence and comfort. I teach a variety of repertoire that is primarily classical, but I often supplement this with pieces from many other genres, which are personalized to excite each student. I encourage all of my students to participate in group-learning environments, and keep them and their parents apprised of camps, competitions, and other performance opportunities available in their area.

I'm a flutist who just ended the Master in Antwerp Conservatory obtaining high distinction result and I have experience on teaching flute from debutants (children or adults) until preparing audition for students who want to enter a conservatory.
I also have experience on teaching solfège and for people interested on starting music (both flute and music theory). I can combine everything in one lesson.
Nowadays, I'm studying the master pedagogic in Liege Conservatory
I enjoy playing the flute together with the students and for debutants, as I also play the guitar, I can accompany them.

Hello! I am a law student and have been playing the piano for 10 years (private lessons), having started giving private lessons last year. I offer private piano lessons (classical orientation) to beginners and intermediates of all ages and music theory lessons. Here is some information about me:

I obtained my master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts as a solo violinist, as well as in chamber music.
Since 2018 I have held a position in the 2nd Violin Group of the Belgian National Orchestra in Brussels.
As an enthusiastic chamber music player, I play regularly and give concerts with different ensembles in Belgium as the Brussels String Quartet.
Teaching and sharing with you all my music knowledge has a very important role in my life.
My research on how to deal with stress on stage is another topic that I find essential and very helpful for everyone who has some issues and wants to improve in that way.
