I am a professional guitarist who combines his musical activity with teaching. After many years of study at the Escuela Superior de Música Moderna "Ateneo Jazz" in Madrid and the Conservatorio Profesional de Música in Valencia, I decided to change my life and move to Amsterdam.
There I learned a lot playing in different environments with musicians of the contemporary scene and, after a few years, I returned to Spain to work as a teacher in "Centros de Música Luis Estrella", Madrid. I had several years of experience with students but, without a doubt, working in a music school gave me another approach to teaching.
Now I am in Brussels, where I am studying a Bachrelor ́s degree in Jazz- Electric guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

About Me

I am a professional guitarist who combines his musical activity with teaching. After many years of study at the Modern Harmony Music School "Ateneo Jazz" in Madrid and the Professional Conservatory of Music in Valencia, I decided to move to Amsterdam.
There I learned a lot playing in different environments with musicians of the contemporary scene and, after a few years, I returned to Spain to work as a teacher in "Centros de Música Luis Estrella", Madrid. I had several years of experience with students but, without a doubt, working in a music school gave me another approach to teaching.

Graduated in France for a classical training, I offer courses of flutes (from piccolo to octobasse via bass and viola!).
The content of the courses will be adapted to the needs of each one. I practice improvisation for quite a few years, the Brazilian music (choro) is one of my specialties. I also play in the French Flutes Orchestra, and I share with pleasure my practices and sound research such as multiphonic, flute and voice, circular breathing, whistle tones and other flatterzung! Good morning! Let me introduce myself, my name is Sacha, I'm 22 years old, I live in Brussels and I had the opportunity to do 3 years of jazz guitar in Antwerp. I've been making music for a few years now, but I've also been interested in other instruments (bass, drums, piano, production)! I give private lessons for beginners and intermediates, the theory is not compulsory, and I adapt to the student so that we reach our goals as quickly as possible!

The most important thing for me is that as the lessons progress, the student gains autonomy, the lessons are aimed at both children and adults who want to deepen their knowledge of the guitar (or music theory). All levels and all ages are welcome, I have already had the opportunity to give lessons to people who have never touched a guitar, as well as to more advanced people.

I adapt according to the student's requests and prerequisites to provide them with a program that suits them best. I like to give small objectives, so that the student can directly see their improvement in the short term, as well as longer-term objectives, which will be worked on regularly during the lessons.

I started playing guitar with rock, then moved on to a more rock/funk side and it's been 3 years now that I've focused on jazz. But I regularly come back to my first loves!

A seasoned and passionate musician since the age of 15, I gave my first lessons more than 10 years ago. I am an excellent pedagogue, and I adapt to the level of the student, whether in terms of technical mastery of the instrument, ability to read notes (or tablature), as well as understanding music theory and of the theory. I put myself at the service of the student, his level and his tastes and musical projects. I have a thorough knowledge of music theory, particularly in jazz, and a long experience of playing together (jazz, rock and progressive metal). Hello, my name is Victor, I am 24 years old and I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I play in different musical projects with artists such as Youssef Swatt's, Lena Deluxe, Bim Boom Bap... My teaching focuses on spontaneous and mainly oral learning of music. There is no need to know music theory. I will discuss some theoretical notions depending on what we are working on together, and your curiosity on this subject. I would emphasize listening, rhythm and playing in pairs. There will be part of the work devoted to instrumental technique (how to get a beautiful sound out of the instrument, how to play without getting tired or injured, what are the different ways of making a guitar/bass guitar sound depending on the style) , and the rest of the time we can work on pieces, tackle improvisation, group playing, composition, or other subjects depending on your requests.

My musical journey:

I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in jazz and before that I spent 2 years at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lille in jazz bass/double bass and classical double bass. I also graduated from EF2M in Tourcoing.

I started music at the age of 8 with the piano, then I turned to the guitar at 12 and then to the electric bass at 16. When I entered the Lille Conservatory, I also took up the double bass.

I practiced several styles: jazz, rock, blues, metal, classical, soul, funk, etc... and the fact of having played several instruments helps me to have a more global vision of music, and to find what is interesting in each of the styles. This openness I want to pass on in my classes.
I have several years of stage experience with different projects, and I have also worked in the studio, notably with the house music artist Bellaire.

The trumpet is a wonderful instrument. I therefore propose to initiate those who would be interested as well as to help people who are already familiar with this instrument. I've been playing this instrument for 14 years, 10 of which in a conservatory, and I never got tired of it.

My way of teaching is mainly based on the management of one's breath and the development of one's musical ear, with breathing exercises, listening, technique etc.
Thus, my method is just as suitable for young children who want to learn this instrument, as for older people.

My goal is to advance the student without discouraging or overloading with work. That the desire to learn continues.

My name is Rodrigo Fuentealba, I’m a professional guitarist - Fuzztones, Arsenal, Novastar, Gabriel Ríos, Fifty Foot Combo, Manngold - I play in little dark venues as well as Werchter and Forest National in bands whose genre ranges from Rock'n Roll, blues, surf, punkrock, postpunk, jazz, latin, garage, pop, soul, folk, country, psychedelica, impro, solos and anything in between and beyond, anything as long as it’s good and fun !
