HI ALL! Nice to meet you! :) * Before starting with the lessons we will have a FIRST FREE MEETING in order to know your needs, your current level of Spanish, the materials you are using to learn Spanish, if any, and the free time that you have to learn the language, so we can both find the best way to improve your level without making it become a torture. I have always considered that learning a language should be something smooth and funny that should take into account the personal circumstances of every learner, otherwise the learning passion could easily fade away. *I have experienced that learning through NEWSPAPER NEWS, AUDIOS and VIDEOS can be fun and enjoyable, so depending on the level this could be a good and non-painful way to improve your language skills: summarizing the content, discussing it, using different ways of giving your opinion etc. Not only Spanish accent from Spain will be used in order to make you become familiar with ALL KIND OF ACCENTS. * In case the level is not so high we will start with the most basic elements of the Spanish language, and we will integrate the content with GAMES and SONGS, in order to make you enjoy the learning path. ***IT IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING THE NEXT CERVANTES IN TOWN***, but about being able to properly communicate, understand, write and have fun while learning.

The class is to provide any supplementary help with Sociology at A Level. The aim is for it to be casual but to still have focus and clear intent. Sociology allows you to study the world around you. It is in our everyday lives! And, as you might have seen, a lot of theories come from old bearded men in the 20th century. So how can they possibly write about stuff that happens or is relevant in today's society? This is where you can use critical analysis to test how sociology works, and importantly, to use the tools it has given you to question what we take for granted. This is the main task of sociology; to defamiliarise the familiar. My teaching method is very much student-led. It is based on the problems that are brought to me so that they can be dissected, analysed and we can work together to see how to solve the issue. I know how it feels to feel like your question or problem is not worthwhile, or that you might feel a bit silly for not understanding something. However, I can absolutely say that you will never be the only person that has struggled with that particular concept or question (or whatever it may be!). I work on a no-judgement basis! Saying this, a lot of the time, students have an inkling about an answer, or partially understand concepts and theories, and more often than not they have the analytical tools to get there, but might get confused along the way or lack confidence in their abilities. It is simply about working through the issue logically. Sometimes just talking about it out loud can make it clearer! You generally know more than you think you do. It is about having confidence in your ideas. I am on track to receive a high class undergraduate degree in sociology, so hope to utilise the skills I have been developing over the past few years to help you in your studies!

Trusted teacher: Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Trusted teacher: * Training linguist and author of textbook as such. => I am not a student in L1 who had a good grade in the Baccalaureate. I am a practicing, qualified teacher and holder of National Education. Teaching can not be improvised. This is something I feel I do well with 23 years of experience. I remind parents that to have 10/20 to the Baccalaureate, just have the level A2 (which is theoretically expected at the end of 3rd) so I let you imagine the despair of engineering students who must get at least 750 to the TOEIC! It's the equivalent of level B2!) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Each course gives rise to a detailed report. * In-depth knowledge of the European Framework. (A1 => C2) * Work of language activities. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, links ... The grammar of the oral. * Adaptation to all levels: => College - High school: beginner, false beginner ... => Post-baccalaureate: TOEIC preparation, TOEFL, iELTS, Cambridge First Certificate, Advanced Certificate. => Oral and writings of the grandes écoles such as ENA => Oral and written business schools (Tremplin-Passerelle ...) => Engineering school: preparation for TOIEC.
