Let’s start with an interesting text about current or past cultural events; let’s then learn some grammar; next, let’s discuss all this together so that you can practice speaking. We’ll then do some listening to train the ear and hear other people speaking in Spanish, and then finally, let’s put all the above into practice with some guided exercises!

I'm a Colombian high-school teacher who genuinely loves to work with children and teens. I also teach adults, of course!

Did you know that the accent from Bogota has been deemed to be the purest of all the Spanish accents in the world? This comes in very handy as you would be learning with great clarity and precision!
However if you want to travel to Spain, that should not be a problem, as I can teach you the variations you would need to be mindful of if you visit Madrid, Sevilla, Murcia, and so on.

To me, teaching must be a relaxing and fun experience, both for my students and for myself! My lessons are a lovely time spent together with my pupils during which we discover the Hispanic world together, all while learning and having a truly nice time! Expect some laughter, for sure!

I like to use PASOS, which is a course book that comes with a workbook and listening exercises.Having said that, I'm open to working with other material that is vital for you.
I also love to grab great videos from YouTube about food, sports, celebrities, nature, animals, travelling, and so on, to make things fun and exciting!
We will role play in Spanish as well, as I deem very important to practice real life situations and becoming fluent in that type of conversations and short exchanges of information.

In my lessons, you will learn tons about Latin America, as well as about Spain. Luckily for us, I have travelled extensively and have interesting experiences to share with you.

About Me

Being Colombian, I love music, dancing, being in nature, and meeting great people, like you! I'm a mother of a 19 year-old young man who's studying Business Administration at the moment, and with whom I have the most wonderful relationship.
I teach Spanish & French in high-schools, in England, and I teach privately in my area of Weybridge (Elmbridge area) to adults and children. I love what I do because I love to share my knowledge with others and inspire them to learn as much Spanish as they possibly can so that they can travel abroad, find better jobs, get amazing grades at school, and so on.
