My name is Daniel, an experienced English and Mandarin speaking Singaporean music teacher who loves teaching piano and guitar to children and adults.

I hold a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne, Australia and a Diploma in Music Practice from Trinity College London.
I specialize in teaching classical and pop piano.
I have extensive experience teaching music to primary school students from Ashburton, St Christopher’s Private School in Melbourne, Australia, as well as students from private schools in Singapore.

I am a professional pianist, who have over 20 years experience in teaching piano and music theory.

I teach all ages, beginners to professionals, have many international students, and a class for Associations Franco-Japonais (AFJ), in English, French, and Japanese.

I also prepare students for exams or competitions, such as Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM, ARSM, DipABRSM), and Advanced Placement (AP) Music Theory, etc., and most of my students have achieved with distinction.

In my class, considering capabilities of each student, we will work and find together what is the best way for them to enjoy music, based on technical assurance and control, matching musical interpretation, communication, and delivery.

Teaching locations will be at a lesson studio in west Tokyo (Kamishakujii), student’s home, or online. Group lessons are able only for music theory at student’s home or online.
