I’m at service of the student who want to learn with curiosity, starting from where they are. I don’t make difference between beginners and advanced students, for me it’s a personal project to help the person go through the process and enrich themselves through the practice of Music. I believe it’s much more about understanding than the mere practicing, that’s why it’s “a” Practice. One of the many ways to discover oneself and one’s attitudes, one’s relationship with emotions, coordination, cultures, history, narratives. Everyone has their main function and we will find that for you- may it be associative, geometric, dialogic.. the most important is that we create a space where learning is backed up by enthusiasm and safety- all the rest of technicalities, I deal with it:)
Me teaching it’s a pure act of offering- I don’t need it but I love it.

I'm a therapist, qualified in many disciplines of therapy, among which Sat Nam Rasayan Healing and Kundalini Yoga. They have helped me a lot during my journey and development, since they work on the "neutral Mind", and the natural availability of everyone to cocreate reality from that point of neutrality. From there, your mind is completely controlled and surrendered and I focus my complete attention to the Relationship happening in that said moment with the person in care. With me being a neutral element of the equation, all that happens and is captated through the senses of my system has to do with the person. So like this physical, emotional, mental contractions can be resolved with the sole Presence, when not even the presence on-site, as we mean it, is needed. the treatment is then supported by an advised tailored practice of kundalini yoga that we can also practice together.

My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references.

Stylistically, the focus is on blues, rock, folk pop and world music, with strong references and influences from classical music, hip hop, electronic music and jazz.

Course for beginners and advanced students

My course focuses on the personal realtion between the individual, the chosen instruments and the music itself. This includes musical expression, improvisation, songwriting, songwriting, interpretation as well as music theory and specific aspects of the instrument.

My musical background lies between blues, folk, rock, pop and world music with influences from classical, as well as electronic music, hip hop and jazz.

I offer beginners' classes in piano and harpsichord for any age, and can additionally provide the basics in music theory.
A passionate learner myself, I started harpsichord at age 5 and have recently graduated with a Masters from the Hochschule für Musik Basel in Specialized Performance (Improvisation). My experience teaching started in New York where I taught school students piano and music theory. I am also a professional continuo player accompanying Baroque orchestras on the harpsichord, as well as a composer of experimental music.
My experience in very different musical scenes gives me a unique approach to studying that allows me to adapt the content and structure of lessons according to where the student wants to develop their skills. This can include focus on exercises like scales and arpeggios; studying simple pieces from Classical, Baroque or even Pop repertoire; figured bass; body posture awareness; and trying more experimental things through free improvisation techniques! I've also found that accompanying practice with theory helps to deepen one's understanding and joy at learning this beautiful music.
