I learned the Oud by ear when I was 11 years old from my father and brothers, and then I studied at the Intermediate Music Institute for two years, then I completed studying the Oud at the College of Music for 4 years.
I have experience teaching solfege

My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. Singing lessons for all levels and age. For beginners, together we can discover the range of your voice and build the breathing and singing technique. At the same time we will work on music theory, ear training and how to read a score. For mature singers, we can delve into the singing technique and interpretation and add pieces in your repertoire. I have been playing the piano for 15 years. I have studied Classical Singing in the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (Greece) and I have followed a two-year Early Music Programme in Athens Conservatoire. At the same time I studied Music Theory (Harmony) at the Greek National Conservatoire from which I gained my Harmony degree.
In addition, I have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Here in The Netherlands, I finished my masters at the Utrechts Conservatorium and worked as a singer at the NKK NXT 2022-2023.

I have participated in Operas (“Julius Cesar”- 2015 in Athens Concert Hall and “Alcina”-2019 in Odeon of Herodes Atticus) as a member of a vocal ensemble and I have also performed as a soloist in many concerts. Some of the stages I have performed are: Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, Schouwburg Concertzaal Tilburg, Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

Hello there! My name is Vasilis and I am a jazz/rock/eastern traditional and classical guitar player, singer and songwriter currently studying as a 3rd year student in the Jazz and Pop guitar department of HKU conservatory. I am coming from Greece where I graduated from my first bachelor on classical guitar and the last three years I live, study, work and play in Utrecht.

My teaching career started very early, 12 years ago when my classical guitar teacher let me teach my first student and since then I have worked in multiple music schools and in private lessons with students of every age. This year I also started giving my first band coaching group lessons.

In my lessons I try to create a learning path that is formed arround the interests and taste of each student. Since I am a singer and songwriter the lessons can also focus on the creating part of music if of course the student is interested in that. I work with empathy and sensitivity arround the needs of each student.

As for my playing career, I play with multiple bands on original songs of mine or covers in different venues and festivals in Europe. The genres differ between pop, jazz, rock, eastern traditional and blues so I can give a big variety of stylistic directions to each student.

Last but not least, I am also a singer and because of my good performance in school, I was awarded from the HKU Conservatory the oportunity to follow the vocal curriculum of the school as well. So I can help you with singing too!
