Hi everyone! My name is Enrico. I am a musician from Italy currently based in Valencia, Spain. My Background I started playing organ in church when I was 10 years old. I quickly enrolled at my nearest Conservatory where I have been for 12 years, studying Organ and classical composition for 8 years. I continued with jazz piano studies, and graduated in 2021. I have been performing since 2016, in folk, pop and jazz ensembles around Italy and now I am continuing my music studies in Valencia, at the Berklee College of Music. You will feel inspired by the variety of concepts, practices, and assignments made just for you. I can make classes either online or in person. Modern Music, Electronic, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Classical... I am an international polyinstrumentalist with a diploma in violin from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I started playing the Piano and Violin at the age of 4 and I am an active performer throughout Europe, with 20 years of experience teaching this instrument. In addition, I have had the honor of being an official Violin Tutor of the educational sector of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, which further enriched my pedagogical background. My advanced training in Jazz and electronic music complements my approach, allowing me to offer a diversified range of both acoustic and electric violin and my repertoire ranges from classical pieces to modern music. I am pleased to present my violin classes, both acoustic and electric, specifically designed to address a wide range of musical styles and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, offering a nurturing learning environment. My methodology combines traditional elements, Russian influences and Suzuki method approaches, and I carefully adapt it to the individual needs of each student. An example program from one of my classes includes goal definition, a solid technical foundation, followed by exploration of classical and/or modern repertoire. I encourage musical expression and creativity, which allows my students to develop their own performing style. What gratifies me most as a teacher is sharing the joy of music and the passion for this versatile instrument. For me, seeing my students grow and enjoy music is a privilege. During this course you will be able to acquire all the necessary tools to learn from scratch the knowledge and skills necessary to play the violin or viola, learn to read sheet music and understand the general functioning of music through the Suzuki methodology and others. I have demonstrable experience in teaching violin and viola to children and young people at a beginner and intermediate level. Learning to play a musical instrument is not only an artistically enriching activity, but it also offers a wide range of benefits that positively affect various areas of the lives of those who immerse themselves in learning it. I have 8 years of experience as a teacher for children and adults and I have a master's degree in piano performance and research in Musical Didactics. I am passionate about pedagogy, piano and research. I maintain a good relationship with my students and especially, I am very attuned to young children. I am methodical and with an affinity for technology. I am certified in advanced English and braille musicography and am a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. In this course you will be able to learn from the basic principles of the instrument, such as its parts and the functionality of each of them without neglecting the parts of the bow and a little of its history, seeing how its structure has been changing. with the evolution of music and the instrument, learning how its mechanics work and talking a little about the different materials from which they can be made. You will also learn how to have a correct posture when taking the instrument, avoiding all kinds of long-term injuries and taking advantage of gravity as a resource in favor with different relaxation and naturalness exercises that will make us be one with the Violin.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
