About Me

I teach universal music in a non-rote system without compressing certain patterns.With reading musical notes, I make you feel the contribution of the instrument to the human mind at the maximum level. I have been a tale therapy and pedagogical training for the child age group. I appeal to their world and include music in their lives.
When you reach a certain level, we will be building a bond between you and the instrument in a way that you can play the instrument with less dependence on the teacher.

I process all the physics and anatomical rules of the violin through the works. Instead of wasting time just playing etude while learning the violin, I start the first steps with meaningful melodies, sometimes children's songs and sometimes anonymous works.

I have been playing the piano since I was five years old. Even though I am trained in Western classical music, I can universally read and play all music. I was raised with the discipline of a musician; When I was five years old, I began my studies at the Rimsky-Karsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, and continued at that school until I reached college age and graduated . I finished my university studies in Italy

I am an experienced violin and piano teacher from the UK, offering violin, piano and music theory lessons in English to all ages and abilities.

I'm a very patient, reliable and friendly teacher with over 10 years experience teaching violin, piano and music theory to children and adults of all ages and abilities, from age 3+, including children with physical and learning disabilities. I aim to make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible, whilst ensuring I give my pupils a good technical and musical foundation from the very first lesson.

I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons. I base my classes on passion or creating this passion. Far from me the idea of following a basic and linear program of learning, when it comes to art, we talk about sensations, feelings and emotions! It is therefore necessary to create the musical envy in the student and for that three points are essential:

-Listening: What does the student want? Make it a job? a passion ? Discover an instrument? This is the most important point, because it allows to glimpse the desires of the student in order to prepare a tailor-made educational program so that it is in perfect adequacy with his training and his desires.

Curiosity: It's good to know how to play an instrument, understand it better! I give my classes a cultural dimension to be able to undertake music. It is very important to play well, to understand what we play to be able to grasp all the ins and outs and, who knows, reproduce one day in personal compositions.

- Fun: Playing an instrument is above all fun. This dimension is just as important as working your exercises because without pleasure, there will be no emotions. Who are the classes for?

Children:
From 7 years old, learning notes in a playful and progressive way. We explore music theory, tablatures, rhythm and melody thanks to card games specially developed for the youngest: recognition, 7 families, pair games, Memory, etc. Your child discovers the instrument and the technique while being able to quickly play familiar tunes! Classes usually last 30 minutes.

Teen:
The goal is not to spend too much time on the theoretical aspect of music theory (reading notes etc.) but to see the basic techniques of the instrument in order to be able to play and have fun quickly.

Adults:

Beginner:
You quickly take the instrument in hand, I guide you to acquire in a few sessions the technical gestures and the basic notions in order to be autonomous with your guitar.

Intermediate:
You develop a repertoire in line with your tastes and desires. I advise you and challenge you to make you progress.

Advanced:
You improve your technique thanks to the study of statements of reference guitarists and different Jazz / Rock / Blues / Gypsy styles such as: John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Peter Bernstein, George Benson, Django Reinhardt etc...
Together we work on the writing and the balance of musical phrases, chord sequences, notions of tension and resolution, which will allow you to create your own music and refine your style. I advise you on the right software and musical software (writing/Sibelius, tabalture/Guitarpro, Recording/Ableton, creation/Reason etc...)

How are the lessons going?

Face to face, at your home, mine, or video, I adapt to your possibilities and your wishes.
