My name is Jennifer. I have a degree in International Relations. I have been successful in preparing students for Cambridge English exams but I offer English lessons for all levels and French lessons to primary children depending on what your needs are. As an experienced teacher in the orientation cycle, I am enthusiastic about helping students organize their work by developing different learning methods.

The objective of this course is to provide a pleasant environment for students who are having difficulty at school, in order to strengthen their self-confidence and encourage them to come regularly and see their progress.

The student in difficulty needs to be accompanied in the management of his homework and his learning before being able to gain autonomy. By acquiring an organized working method and using different learning techniques, he will be able to find more fulfillment in his work.

I have experience in teaching and support classes, I appreciate the contact with the students, especially their smiles when they regain their self-confidence and feel capable of progressing.

Writing, reading, grammar, communication, dialogues.

The choice of the method depends first of all on your objective, also on your current level in the language. Oral expression is at the center of my method, which is based on an active and repetitive memorization. Practice the most by talking, reading, listening to the language. The grammar will be learned intuitively with short sentences of everyday life.

I hold British and French nationalities and speak both languages (and Spanish). I am specialised in teaching French as a foreign language (literature and grammar). I am a very adaptable and enthusiastic person. I have a TEFLA certificate (for teaching English) and a CEFLE certificate (for teaching French). I have worked in different organisations, such as the Alliance Française (Cusco, Peru), ARA ( Geneva) and given private lessons to adults, adolescents and children. I am a doctorate student with a master degree in English literature, including a specialization in new American studies from the university of Lausanne. I am experienced in helping with homework (all levels and subjects) and language class (French and English) from beginners to advanced.
