About Me

Born in Belgium in 1999, cellist Felix began playing the cello at the age of 8.
From 2013 till 2017, he studied at Kronberg Academy in Germany as a promising young talent with Istvan Vardai. From 2016 till 2017, he also studied with France Springuel in Belgium. From 2017 till 2019, he studied with Istvan Vardai at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim. Since October 2019, he continues his cello education in Vienna at the University of Music and Performing Arts with Istvan Vardai and finished his studies in 2026.
In 2016, he won the first prize at the Concours de Musique Breughel in Brussels and a special prize at the Knopf – Competition in Düsseldorf. In 2014 he won first prizes at Belfius Classics and at the International Edmond Baert Cello Competition in Belgium.
He has taken part in masterclasses with Jérôme Pernoo, Antonio Meneses, Frans Helmerson, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Ivan Monighetti, Laszlo Fenyo and Reinhard Latzko. As a chamber musician, he has given performances with leading artists such as Christel Lee in the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, with Nikita Boriso – Glebsky, Peijun Xu, Suyoen Kim and Guy Ben-Ziony in the Festival Musik Miteiander in Kronberg and with Marianna Shirinyan in Mannheim and in Denmark.
He was selected for famous festivals as Pablo Casals Festival Prades, Festival Biel/Bienne, Hvide Sande Festival Denmark, Cello Festival Rutesheim and Yehudi Menuhin Festival Gstaad. In 2015 and 2016, he was an active participant in Kronberg Academy’s Cello Masterclasses.
He performed with orchestras such as Orchestre Philharmonique de Budweis, Bruges Chamber Orchestra, FrascatiSymphonic and Flanders Symphony Orchestra. He performed in Belgium, France, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain and Russia.
Felix started composing at the age of 6 and at 12, he received the medal Belgian Artistic Promotion for his winning composition at the Cantabile Competition for professional composers. In 2014, he was laureate from Belfius Classics in Brussels. His inspiring music has been recorded by Hermes ensemble and by Radio Klara and has been performed at festivals and concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland. In his composition Odysseus 10 for cello solo, created at the Yehudi Menuhin Festival in Gstaad 2016, he creates sounds on the cello that never have been used before.
As a cellist – composer, he was laureate 2017 from SPES, Belgian Foundation to support Creation.

You have chosen to play the most wonderful instrument there is. I have been playing the cello for almost two decades and I can tell you it is a beautiful and rewarding journey, and I would not be where I am today without a group of extraordinary teachers and mentors that have been with me along the way and shared their wisdom and experience with me. Now it is my turn to share. I have been teaching for a few years and I love watching my students develop, enjoy the cello, learn new things, and become better at expressing themselves in the universal language of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate/advanced level player, I would be happy to offer my guidance and perspective on anything you want to work on and improve. Studio Policy
This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly.

Lessons/Payment:
Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom.
Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home.
Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package.
If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation.
Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson.

Tardiness:
The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed.
If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule.

Rescheduling/Cancellations:
Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits.
The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype.
If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month.

Copyright/class recordings:
Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement.
The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken.
The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement.
Parental Involvement for younger students:
I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture.
Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

I offer private songwriting mentoring/coaching sessions for students of different ages.

We will go over what the main components of songwriting are, how to approach it, holding songwriting sessions together, and discover how to find inspiration for writing your own songs or making your own music productions. I encourage students to actively present their productions, songs, sketches, ideas and any sparks of inspiration you may have. I personally use Ableton Live for most of my productions. I regularly write and produce music for my solo project Pološywa as well as all kinds of collaborations with other artists and producers in different genres.

My goal as a teacher is to keep and increase the students' love for music as well as to offer necessary and appropriate knowledge/skills to keep the student challenged and of course, enjoy the fun of music!

my name is Yunjeong.
I was born in 1996 in Ulsan, South Korea.
When I was a child, I loved listening to classical music a lot. I started playing the piano when I was 6.
In 2012 I started studying at Busan High School of Arts. I graduated from this course when I was 19, and then went on to study at Chugye Art University in Seoul. There I had the opportunity to learn a lot and to play with different musicians.
I am currently attending the Franz Schubert Conservatory for a Master of Music. I'm studying piano there.

While learning to play the piano, I have taught diverse students with different musical experiences.

I could see a lot of improvement besides that.

Hello! My name is Djevrije Tule and I am a music student at the MUK – Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna.
I have been playing piano since I was six years old and have participated in numerous concerts and masterclasses in Germany (Cologne, Düren), Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia and Vienna.

As a composer, I develop my ideas through improvisation at the piano, which, trained through technique and knowledge, allows for a free discovery of one's own music.
So you not only learn to play your favorite songs, but also to understand them and to come up with similar ones yourself.

I offer individually tailored lessons in composition, free improvisation, and piano for students of all levels — from beginners to advanced musicians.

Composition
Lessons focus on developing a personal musical language through both creative work and analytical study. We analyze scores from various periods, including the 20th and 21st centuries. We explore contemporary compositional techniques, form, harmony, texture, and extended instrumental techniques (including their notation). Students are guided in building original works while strengthening their artistic identity.

Free Improvisation
This course combines practical exercises with the analysis of selected works and recordings in experimental and improvised music. The course is not dedicated to any single style or genre, but rather focuses on helping each participant discover and develop their own artistic voice and approach to music-making. I am a professional cellist based in Vienna, Austria, currently active as a soloist and chamber musician. I offer individual online cello lessons in English, German, Italian and Japanese.
