My name is Janka and I study flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. I offer flute lessons for beginners and advanced players of all ages, whether performance-oriented or relaxed. I always base my lessons on the development, needs and wishes of my students, because the individuality of my students is particularly important to me. Of course, the fun and joy of making music are always the main focus. I make it a point to teach you a clean playing technique right from the start. Together we will find the right form of teaching. A typical class would start with warm-up exercises, then we would work on repertoire that I can suggest (after I can assess the vocal range). Of course you can always take pieces with you! I can also accompany you on the piano for my own repertoire suggestions. The human voice is the instrument closest to us. Therefore, I believe that through voice training, you not only discover the joy of singing, but also get to know yourself and your own body much better. I am studying solo singing myself and am therefore very much looking forward to meeting motivated and musical singers. Above all, a natural and healthy singing technique is very important to me, because only then do you have the right tools to work musically and interpretatively. My current schedule changes every week (rehearsals/university/concerts) so for now I would always make appointments a week in advance instead of keeping a fixed date every week.

I find piano lessons very important because they stimulate our brains and develop our coordination. Playing the piano is also challenging, as you have to pay attention to many things and have a lot of patience. For me, teaching is a collaboration in which student and teacher achieve a common goal. With motivation, patience, and an individualized approach, I want to accompany my students on their musical journey.

I am a pianist with extensive experience in the art of piano playing and teaching. Therefore, I can not only teach piano playing, but also do so in a friendly and motivating atmosphere. Working with students of all ages and levels, I know how to make lessons interesting, varied and beneficial. In my lessons, you will not only acquire skills in piano music, but also basic knowledge of music theory, which will make working with musical material much easier. Thanks to my many years of experience as a pianist in hotels in various countries, I can not only teach you how to play classical pieces, but also help you play your favorite hits by ear, read sight quickly and accurately, and improvise.

The lesson lasts 45 minutes and is completely customized to your needs and preferences. We can work on your technique and musicality or just learn how to play your favorite songs so you can show off to your friends ;) I think I am a really patient person and I believe that with hard work, anyone can achieve anything! The lessons are optimized for everyone: from beginners to experienced piano players.

Based on the student's needs and technical capabilities we will work together on a piece/song that a student might want to learn. Additionally, in order to improve the playing and to understand the piece better, we will work on the playing technique, harmony, and music theory of the piece/song.! It is possible for us to work in person also!

Viola lessons offer a comprehensive introduction to playing the viola, a string instrument with a warm, deep sound. The lessons are aimed at beginners to moderately advanced players. Students learn basic techniques such as bowing, posture and reading music as well as advanced playing techniques, including vibrato, double stops and phrasing. The focus is on improving playing technique, musical expressiveness and understanding different musical styles, from baroque to modern. Regular exercises and individual feedback help to refine your own playing.

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

Lessons in Graz! Hello! Have you always wanted to learn the saxophone, clarinet, flute (recorder)? Would you like a learning atmosphere that builds on positivity and leads to the desired learning success while having fun with the instrument? I also offer music theory classes (jazz theory or classical music theory) and early music education. Briefly to me: My musical career began in elementary school, later followed by the music secondary school in Weiz and then the music high school in Graz. At the age of 6 I learned to play the recorder, until I switched to the saxophone at the age of 8. After studying at the music school in Gleisdorf, I went to the Graz Conservatory and after graduating from the music high school, I studied at the University of Music & Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where I did vocal and instrumental pedagogy (IGP) at the Institute for Popular Music with a focus Studied classical sax. I took my own instrumental lessons from Richard Winkler, Wolfgang Puschnig, Martin Fuss, Klaus Dickbauer and Fabian Rucker, among others. There are also countless workshops with e.g. Branford Masalis, Randy Brecker, Torsten Skringer etc. In my career, instruments such as piano, clarinet and flute were added. I'm a professional musician myself and play in bands such as "Candlelight Ficus", "Die Ranzler", "Moneka Group" and "Matho & Das Vienna Dancehall Orchestra", as well as jobs with big bands, DJ's and much more.
