Spanish for all levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hola! My name is Maria. I was born in the bustling and unique city of Barcelona (Spain) and I've been living in the UK for 7 years. I am trilingual, as Spanish and Catalan are my two mother tongues and I am very fluent in English (Academic IELTS 7.5). Learning languages is such a grateful experience! I feel very lucky to be able to speak in three different languages with my little ones and I would like to help you to enjoy the magic of learning Spanish. In my lessons, you will have the opportunity to learn and talk about different topics (not boring topics, only the ones of your choice!) and you will have the chance to develop your confidence and fluency in Spanish. I can offer conversational lessons if you are already fluent in Spanish and would like to bring your fluency to the next level or help you learn this wonderful language from whichever level you are. I am happy to tutor any age, from little ones to adults or even families and I will personalise the sessions depending on your needs/requests. If you have any friends who are also looking for learning Spanish, encourage them :) Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, so don't wait and get in contact with me! I'm sure you won't regret it. Don't hesitate to get in touch for any questions. I will be happy to help to fulfil your requests. Hasta pronto! Maria

1-1 Guitar and Music Theory Tuition - Online or In PersonTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Nathan has been playing Guitar and studying Music for over 15 years, from Primary School right through to the current day in University. Beginning just under a year ago, Nathan has thoroughly enjoyed passing on his enthusiasm and passion for Guitar and Music alike through tutoring. Nathan has several qualifications in Music, including GCSE, A Level and First Class honours in Musical Arts (BA) and, starting with a Masters, he hopes to add to these qualifications in the future. Nathan’s teaching style revolves around his students and therefore adapts to the different students he is teaching, considering their skill level, age and personality when approaching each lesson. Alongside teaching, Nathan is hugely passionate about playing in his Function Band, recording and mixing songs and of course listening to music almost none stop. Nathan teaches Guitar from beginners to intermediate level players and teaches Music Theory up to grade 5 of all ages. Nathan’s lessons include breaking down the fundamentals of both guitar ad theory, from posture, fingering technique, scales, arpeggios, chords, rhythm, melody and anything else the student wishes to learn. He will teach any exam boards requested, preparing his students for their respective exams by breaking down each technical component previously mentioned with specific focus given to each section of the exam. Whether the student wishes to focus on melody, rhythm, chords or just playing their favourite band’s songs, he will devote all his energy to providing the required tutoring in helping his students fulfil these wishes, whilst enjoying themselves in the process. Nathan will give his all to teaching as many genres as he possibly can, although has vast experience in classical and pop music, particularly Funk, Rock and Jazz. His first lesson with any student will be relaxed, with the aim of figuring out the students skill level and what they wish to achieve through their lessons. The student simply needs to let Nathan know their priorities in terms of what they wish to learn and their enthusiasm in achieving this. It is common for Nathan to prepare warm-up exercises for his students, such as stretching exercises for the wrists and hands, along with exercises to develop the technique of each hand, for example finger/plectrum exercises and chromatic scales.

Harp, Music Theory and Piano Lessons with a professional musicianTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Elfair works as a professional harpist and is an enthusiastic harp teacher who is happy to teach young children, teenagers and adults. Elfair is committed to her work and takes into account each pupil’s individual needs; she is comfortable working with beginners, intermediate and advanced students. She can teach both lever and pedal harps, music theory and aural training. Elfair prepares students for ABRSM exams, concerts, competitions and auditions. Elfair completed her Master’s degree with distinction at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, after gaining her BMus degree at the conservatoire with first class honours in 2011 as an ABRSM Scholar. Following successes in major competitions, she is an accomplished musician who has embarked on a professional career as a freelance harpist; including working as an artist for the Live Music Now scheme, Music in Hospitals, and touring with the harp quartet CLOUDS. In 2014 Elfair was invited to teach at the Tamnak Prathom Harp Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. During the two years Elfair taught in Bangkok, she taught all ages and all abilities, ranging from beginner (children and adults) to university level. She represented the Centre at international events and festivals, including Singapore HarpFest (2015) and The Third International Harp Festival and Youth Competition (2016). Throughout this time, many of her students competed and performed to an exceptionally high level. In the Thailand Festival Elfair was very proud that one of her young students reached the final round of the competition, playing repertoire of Grade 7 standard and above after only 18months of learning the harp. During these events, she has mixed and conversed various teaching methods with some of the most notable harpists in our generation. During her years studying for her Masters at the RNCM, Elfair started her work as deputy harp teacher at the RNCM Junior Department. In June 2013 Elfair took the role of teaching harp, covering maternity leave at three private schools in central Manchester; The Manchester Grammar School, Manchester High School for Girls and Withington Girls’ School. Elfair is also an experienced piano teacher with pupils successfully passing ABRSM exams. Elfair has a valid DBS certificate. Member of The Incorporated Society of Musicians.

I specialise in Maths and English tuition for 5-11 year olds. I am also highly experienced teaching English language to overseas students (Romania, Dubai, Pakistan, Hong Kong and China) - conversation, grammar, reading and writing. I teach small groups and individuals. I have been a Primary School Teacher and Deputy Head and have over 25 years experience, in both maintained and independent sectors. With a sound understanding of the most up to date teaching trends, curriculum and assessments, I work professionally and knowledegably, bringing out the best in children of all ages and abilities. I can prepare children for Key Stage 1 and 2 SATS, 11+ entrance tests as well as supporting those who need that 'extra boost' to help them improve their learning skills. In my specifically designed teaching space, I have a wide range of resources designed to help students improve and gain confidence in their abilities. To bring out the best in them, I use a wide range of teaching techniques - practical activities, formal practice as well as playing games , which everyone loves, designed to motivate them and to help them develop good learning habits. I believe that my committed and enthusiastic teaching style enables my students to work to their full potential; this then has a positive effect in all other areas of their education.
