Mathematics is an incredibly important area of study, key skills learnt through the teachings of maths will later benefit any student, no matter the desired career path.

I currently study mathematics at Queen Mary, University of London. My goal is that every student i teach would achieve better than I myself achieved at their respective level. To do this i would ask my students to send me problems so that i could create lessons plans to help with any issues they're experiencing. I am willing to adjust my teaching method to accommodate all levels of student.

Mathematics and sciences are key subjects for every student. They are used everywhere: in many degrees at university, as well as lots of jobs out there.

I am able to tutor A level Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Further maths, as well as GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Physics and the FMSQ post GCSE maths course.

At lower levels, i can also tutor the 13+, 11+ and any age group lower than that/above that.

I am a undergraduate at Exeter University studying Maths. I specialise in pure maths and statistics. I aim to go over any work the student has and practice tests as well as any general issues a student may have. I'd love to help involve more young people in maths, and show them what a university career in maths would look like.

This class is aimed at older students, but I am more than able to accommodate to younger students as well.

As a younger person I'm still able to empathise with a students problems and I have experience working with school children helping out with maths.

Teaching provides a unique opportunity to shape lives and influence young people towards a responsible future, hence, my passion for teaching. As one with a passion for Mathematics and Science, I understand that many students face real challenges grasping the concepts of the subject. Hence, teaching provides me the avenue to tackle this. while also making a contribution; giving back to the society in a way that enriches me, challenging me towards further growth and self-development.

In view of the recent Coronavirus and schools suspension, learning has been rescheduled to hold mostly online. Considering the importance of children receiving constant learning support for their education at this time, I am therefore offering either in-house or online tuition whichever works better for students.

Math is essential for life and is one subject that students always have issues with. Students are able to learn Maths simple and are also able to extent their learning to real life contexts. GCSE questions are also used to assist students in formative assessment.

Hello, I specialise in tutoring for the 11+,13+ and SATs. I passed all exams and now I am in a top-achieving grammar school. I can help tell you what to look for and what not to. My goal is to keep students challenged but not overwhelmed, I believe that my lessons are fun but challenging. On the first week, we will be starting with Non-Verbal Reasoning and in the second lesson, we will do a recap. We will be doing that series for at least 5 weeks, and we will do a recap exam of all the Non-Verbal learnt to see how much you have learnt. We will do the same for Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning.

This class will be offering 3 different subjects students can pick between. The subjects are: Maths, Geography and Business Studies and can be taught up to a GCSE level. I will be teaching by going through past papers, case studies or specific topics within the subject.; using these methods, the student will develop a thorough understanding of these subjects. The majority of the course will be fostering critical thinking, problem solving and application skills.

As the class continues, I will be giving students assessments to test their knowledge and understanding as well as to track their development in their chosen subject. I aim to be able to adjust to each student's specific needs so that they can have an efficient as well as comfortable experience when learning.

I’ve designed this class to help any aged child develop more confidence in maths as they might for prepare for school or prepare for SATS in year 6 and then go into secondary school. This class will be interactive, fun and I will always let the child chose what they want to cover in the class depending what it is they are struggling with.

I teach primary school children from Year 2 upwards in Maths, English and in preparation for SATs in Year 6.
My resources are all current and up to date and relevant in today’s National Curriculum specification.
I have full access to the topics to be covered in each year group in Maths and am happy to mirror and match that which is being completed termly at school as well as focusing on more challenging topics. Each lesson will begin with Arithmetic questions for fluency.
Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
