Music helps children build self esteem and succeed in all areas of life. With one on one violin lessons, even very young children can not only learn music skills and how to play the violin, but also build important foundations in their ability to listen, coordination, communication and many other tools, all while have fun!
I like to use some elements of the Suzuki method while teaching also how to read music and basic music theory.

About Me

I recently moved to Austria and am eager to start teaching here. I was born in France but spent most of my childhood living in America until coming back to Europe about 10 years ago. I have taught violin lessons in the United States and in Italy and look forward to starting here!
I specialize in working with children beginning age 4-6 but all ages are welcome!
I use a mix of the Suzuki method (which I like because the children immediately develop a good ear and learn to play songs right away) and also various other methods to learn how to read music and basic theory.

Education

I hold a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Violin Performance
I graduated from James Madison University in 2009 with Magna Cum Laude honors.
