Hello to everyone!
My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher.

Looking forward to meeting you and work together!
Maria.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

Book a lesson and try! If you are not happy, give me a feedback and go on. If you are happy, I will be happy to help you becoming a good musician!

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term.
I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalized course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won't be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.

- a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and music theory so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

Whether you wish to play for pleasure or become a professional pianist, I offer personalized lessons. At the beginning of the course, I will assess your level and give you recommendations on areas to work on. Two main types of lessons are available:

- Beginner course: This course is flexible and will allow you to learn new pieces as well as the basics of music theory. The main objective is to give you the pleasure of playing in your free time, without having to practice too much.

- Professional course: This course will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you advice on preparing one or more pieces for a competition or audition. I will also teach music theory to prepare you for admission to a conservatory or music school.

Hi! I'm Lara, and I've been happily tutoring and supporting music theory, solfeggio and harmony for a number of years. Are you struggling with this and are you looking for help? Then you've come to the right place!
I am a conservatory student and would like to help others who have difficulty with music theory!
I am a clarinetist, so if guidance is needed for the clarinet, this is also possible!
Some knowledge is nice, but starting from 0 is no problem for me!

Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online.
I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level.
In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination.
Lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of each student.
The most important thing is that we have a good time!

I'm an experienced jazz musician and improviser, but I've played many different kinds of music(Pop, Rock, Reggae, Ethnic, Afrobeat for example)
I do not teach a specific style. Generally, I look carefully at the person in front of me and try to help them build the tools they need to play the music they want to play.
I can teach music theory (Solfege, Harmony, Arrangement, Composition) and I can give classes to ensembles.

Music is a powerful way to express yourself. Playing an instrument can be a very intimate experience — a moment to give yourself some time, put your frustrations aside, and simply enjoy making music. But it can also be a fun hobby to share with the people you love: playing for them, singing and dancing together, or simply listening and enjoying the music.

I want to share this gift with my students.

In my lessons, I believe it is important to have goals and, at the same time, to enjoy the journey. I want my students to play music that inspires them and pieces that they genuinely enjoy. Whether you are starting from the beginning, returning to the piano, or looking to develop your playing further, we will work together to find the right balance between learning, improving, and having fun.

For me, playing the piano is not only about learning the right notes. It is about discovering your own voice through music.

I offer music production courses to teach you how to create your own tracks from A to Z and become self-sufficient, while having fun making music.
My courses are fully adapted to your needs, your level and your objectives.

With me you will be able to learn to:
- Use music production software (FL Studio/Ableton)
- Compose your own chords and melodies
- Create your own drums and percussion instruments
- Record your voices and instruments
- Mix and master your tracks from start to finish
- Finalize and share your tracks online easily

I started teaching a year ago and discovered a real passion. I love sharing knowledge and seeing my students progress, understand new things, and leave class motivated and inspired.
I strive to be as educational as possible and take the time needed to ensure everything is understood, without pressure. My goal is for every minute we spend together to be truly valuable and for you to leave with new knowledge, practical tools, and above all, the desire to continue creating.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have several years of experience, the courses are tailored to your level. We can start from scratch or work directly on more advanced topics.
I am also open to all musical genres and all production styles.

I created my own course materials in PDF format so that you can have written support for the courses.
Do you have a piece or a project in progress? Feel free to bring it along! We can analyze it together to get feedback and work directly on it to improve it.
I can also advise you on the choice of your hardware and software according to your needs and budget.
And if you'd like to discover how to take advantage of the many free plugins and tools available, I can also show you some great tips. ;-)
After the lesson, I remain available on WhatsApp to answer your questions and help you if you get stuck.
