I have been living in Japan for nearly 15 years. I arrived in October of 2011.
Since that time, I have been very active as an English teacher.
I have worked in many areas, covering all levels, and types of students.

I have learned a lot, and gathered valuable experience.
Working in a ONE-TO ONE lesson style, ( face to face and ONLINE ) this has helped me learn about many individual styles and different cultures.

Furthermore, some of my personal accomplishments have been working with big companies - visiting customers' offices, and factories to teach onsite.

Again, this has helped me to understand more about the Japanese business culture, and the possible problems that will arise when Japanese are learning English. This is a valuable asset for building relations and trust, in Japan culture, and business. I really enjoyed teaching in these places, and would really like to be more involved.

I take pride in helping other teachers, and people too. I feel the importance of helping new people - giving advice about working, student styles, and also life outside work. I know Japan can be difficult for newcomers. Humans need other humans to interact with, and we all have to help each other.

I’m told that I’m very approachable, kind, creative, always open to new ideas, criticism, and a good listener.
Again, building trust, and a relationship, and showing that I have an understanding of Japanese culture, and the problems, and difficulties students face, when learning a new language, and a new culture.

Over the past 15 years, I have conducted seminars / workshops on the TOEIC examination course. I have a good in depth knowledge of techniques, tests, and preparation. This is another aspect that I fully enjoy teaching, and fulfilling

Teaching culture is an interwoven part of my style, and this is important for students and clients to grasp, to use with their language skill. I teach, and support people with kind understanding, and support. It is always my goal to see people grow, and offer support in every aspect of study, and life.
