French while having fun, another way to learn.

From 18 £ /h

Good morning,
My name is Franck, I am French and I suggest you speak French without embarrassment and while having fun. I am convinced that we learn faster and better by having fun. In France I was a Firefighter and Policeman and I have a long experience of teaching because I am a shooting and first aid instructor, which I taught to my colleagues in France for many years.
Now I live in Yokohama and I am waiting for you to practice, improve your pronunciation, become more and more confident in speaking French. See you soon.

About Me

These days, everyone is seeking out English. Let’s learn at your pace and choose content you’re ready to be engaged with. Beatles music? You got it. Classic books? Okay! Straight up grammar explanations? I’m your guy.

J’ai aussi passé pas mal de temps en France. Bien entendu, la langue française a une grammaire assez compliquée, mais une fois que l’on comprend ses règles particulières, on ne les oubliera plus jamais.

Hi! I’m Adrien, a native French speaker with a passion for teaching French. Growing up in both France and the UK, I’ve experienced the challenges of learning new languages firsthand. While I’m fluent in French, I had to learn English myself, and that experience has made me especially empathetic and skilled at helping others overcome language barriers. I understand what it's like to struggle with a new language, and I’m here to make the learning process easier and more enjoyable for you!

Over the past 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching French to students of all levels , whether you’re just beginning your journey or looking to refine your skills. I focus on making my lessons interactive, engaging, and tailored to your personal goals.

What you’ll learn in my French lessons:
✔️ Fun and easy grammar and vocabulary to help you express yourself confidently.
✔️ Speaking practice to help you hold real conversations in French.
✔️ Pronunciation tips to sound more natural and fluent.
✔️ Writing skills – from basic sentences to more complex essays.
✔️ Listening and understanding French in various contexts (movies, songs, etc.).
✔️ Fun activities to improve your reading and comprehension skills.

I have been using Minecraft to teach French to Franco-Japanese children for almost seven years. I use it as a support and a vector, both as a means and a reward for the children. I have developed a set of techniques that will encourage them to work on their French and will even make them progress without them realizing it. These lessons are strictly supervised, and an activity report is systematically shared with the family.
I even wrote a college dissertation on this technique.
