Hi! My name is Anna, I‘m a classical pianist. I have been working with adults and children since 2018 so I understand the challenges of learning an instrument at different ages and levels. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with my students and to observe their progress :)

Piano is an interesting instrument, which you can create lots of different sounds and imaginations through your fingers.Music might be difficult for beginners ,but if you are really enthusiastic about music. Please give me a chance to lead you travel in those story composers want to tell you.

Before we start, I would like to know your personality, your habits, your favorite composers or even the reason you want to learn piano...That can help me to understand you more, also choose pieces that fit your personality.If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to write me!!

I usually let my students do “Stufen test “ , “ABRSM”, if you want some challenge for yourself, very welcome to my class!

Hey there, I'm Zeynep! I was born in Turkey, Istanbul but I was raised internationally and went to a half English- half Turkish bilingual school. I am currently living in Zurich, Switzerland. I'm studying architecture at the ETH. I'm very passionate about teaching and I really enjoy it! My name is Federica and I am a Pianist from Italy. I recently completed my Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana” with Prof. Alessandro D'Onofrio in Lugano. I completed my Bachelor degree at Conservatory “C. Pollini” in Padua achieving the honours with Prof. Massimo De Ascaniis and afterwards, in 2020, I obtained my soloist-concert Master in Piano with Prof. Riccardo Zadra at Conservatory “A. Pedrollo ” in Vicenza.

I have 10 years of experience in being a music instructor. That's not only piano lessons, it's also a theory of music, history of music, and vocal and orchestral projects.

I've worked with students from all around the world - most of them attended the American School of Warsaw and the British School of Warsaw. The idea is not only to teach how to play the right notes and to know the main composers, but I also want my students to feel the music, to be able to find out what the idea of an art piece is. It is also very important for me to encourage a child to find his own style of playing. From my point of view, there are no people deaf to music, just people who aren’t acquainted with music, till now!

It is well known that music classes are not only pleasant but as well music classes are very helpful and important in a child’s education and development. Kids who play instruments learn languages faster and more productively, focus better, and it has been shown to perform better in math and science. My own experience and that of my students show me that music has a positive effect on a student's overall education results.

Music theory lessons, for children (from 9 years old) and adults.

Passionate about music theory and music theory, I would be happy to share with you my enthusiasm for music theory, so unfairly devalued, due to the sometimes brutal methods with which it is taught.

In the program :
- reading notes (treble clefs, C clefs, F clefs)
- reading rhythms (quarter notes, eighth notes, double / triple / quadruple eighth notes, triplets and other dotted notes)

In case of a former experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I am also open to student's suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is effective in keeping them motivated.
