In my lessons you will learn:
Beginners - How to approach piano, very basic principles of the instrument; Notes, so that you're able to read and play music by yourself very soon; Elementary theoretical knowledge, so that the whole system makes sense for you and learning process goes much faster.

Intermediate and advanced - Simple and useful tricks to improve your technical abilities; How to read and learn a piece faster; How to see and hear the bigger picture, bigger phrases in music and generally how to make your life easier as a piano player.

About Me

Learning an instrument and making music is one of the biggest pleasures anyone could ever experience. It's a beautiful, alive process, where both sides - students and teachers - learn a lot. I think, there is not one fixed method how to approach every individual and everything is adjusted to the student's individual wishes and needs, which makes it even more interesting.
I've been playing piano since I remember myself, have studied with some great teachers and I would love to share my practical and theoretical knowledge with you.

My piano lessons are focused on the aim and purpose you have with piano studying. For example, if you are an adult who wants to do it as a hobby, the approach would be relaxed, based on learning the pieces you like the most (with some suggestions by me) and on improving the technique you need for it. If you are a child, the approach will be fun, motivating an interest in music. Hello! My name is Orestis, I come from Cyprus and I am 27 years old. I am passionate about teaching, and one of the greatest joys of my professional career is watching my students flourish. I have been playing the piano for 20 years now and have over 7 years in teaching the piano. My goal is to make the piano lessons fun and enjoyable while also incorporating all the necessary elements, such as theory, music history and sight-reading, to create a well rounded musical education. I am experienced with exam preparations (ABRSM) and music school admissions exams, but I prefer to create my own curriculum to fit each student’s specific needs and aspirations.
I studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK (BA) and at the Liszt Academy of Music, HU (MA).
